Alhamdulillah, the First High-Level Committee Meeting under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding has concluded successfully in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.

The discussions were held in a positive and constructive atmosphere and yielded encouraging progress, including agreement on a roadmap toward a final deal within 60 days, the establishment of a High-Level Committee to provide political oversight, and the commencement of further technical talks.

I commend the leadership of both the United States as well as Iran for their continued commitment to constructive engagement, and thank all brotherly and friendly countries for their valuable support in advancing this historic process.

In particular, I would like to express my gratitude to our brotherly country Qatar, for its critical support in creating the conditions necessary for these negotiations to move forward.

A word of thanks to the Swiss Government for their facilitation in hosting these talks.

I would like to pay special tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir whose untiring efforts made these talks a success. His dedication, commitment and perseverance are indeed commendable without which there would have been no progress.

I would like to pay my warm compliments and heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, for his diplomatic efforts along with his team at the Foreign Office. I also deeply appreciate the hard work of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi who contributed immensely to the success of these talks.

Pakistan will continue to play its honest and sincere role in advancing dialogue and diplomacy towards a peaceful and lasting resolution.

I am honoured to announce that the historic ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ has been electronically signed today between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Memorandum has been signed by honourable Presidents of both the countries and also endorsed by me as the mediator. The signing of this agreement at the highest level of the respective governments demonstrates the commitment of both sides to a diplomatic resolution of the conflict. Islamabad MoU shall enter into force with immediate effect and as a first step, Islamic Republic of Iran will instantly reopen the Strait of Hormuz and the United States of America will immediately lift the naval blockade.

I offer my heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump whose steadfast commitment to diplomacy and preference for peaceful resolution have once again helped end a conflict that could have led to devastating consequences for the region and beyond. I also commend the dedication and tireless efforts of the United States negotiating team, including J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, for their invaluable contributions to this achievement.

I express my profound respect and appreciation to His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran and President Masoud Pezeshkian for their wisdom, foresight and statesmanship in embracing the cause of peace. I also wish to recognize the efforts of the Iranian negotiating team, including Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Abbas Araghchi and Eskandar Momeni, whose patience, perseverance and commitment to constructive engagement were instrumental in bringing this agreement to fruition.

I would especially like to acknowledge the sincere efforts and constructive engagement of the leadership of the State of Qatar in helping reach this point. I also highly commend the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Türkiye and the Arab Republic of Egypt for their indispensable role and invaluable contributions in this regard.

I would also like to make special mention of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whose tireless efforts, selfless dedication and instrumental role were critical in facilitating this breakthrough and advancing the cause of peace and regional stability.

May this Memorandum of Understanding serve as an enduring foundation for greater understanding, mutual respect and shared prosperity for the complete region.

I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.

Dear Tariq Rahman, you not only owe a respect, rather you owe an apology to the martyrs of most heinous genocide that started from 7 March 1971 and the whole communities of Biharis and other non Bangalis were wiped out in brutal and systematic genocide designed by India and carried out by Mukti Bahini until Pakistan army was forced to opt for operation against genociders.

The gruesome details of Bihari and non-Bangali genocide in East Pakistan will shock the world if they ever came to the light. There were slaughterhouses set up and butchers hired to kill, there were rooms full of the bodies of young children who had been killed by smashing them in the wall, thousands killed and bodies thrown in rivers and genociders went in boats around the rivers looking for any signs of life in the bodies they had dumped in rivers so anyone found breathing could be killed with spears. Genociders raped the Bihari women and left Bangladesh flag stuck in their raped dead bodies. There were trains full of deadbodies, not just killed, but they were systematically cut to make them bleed to death. The kind of brutality that was perpetrated against non-Bangalis has hardly any equivalence in history and according to Tariq Rahman, it was all done by “unarmed people of Bangladesh”. No ! They were armed proxies of India working on bringing Bengali Muslims back in Indian shackles and it happened. Bangladesh has been a vassal state of India since 1971. 

Regarding “teachers and intellectuals” killed on 25th March, the question remains intact: when the whole country was in complete chaos and universities were closed for weeks, what were the “intellectuals and teachers” still doing in hostels? And why non-Bangali women had been found locked in the custody of those “intellectuals”? Why Bengali documentary filmmaker Zahir Rehan was abducted from streets of Dhaka in early 1972, never to be seen again, just for questioning the narrative of these “intellectual killings”. Just because he was looking for evidence of Indian involvement in these killings? You are Prime Minister now. At least open the case of Zahir Rehan again to give him justice. 

Let me enlighten you a bit more about the actual darkness of this history episode where whole Bihari communities were wiped out.

Just one example is Isfahani Jute mill community, where all the men were separated, killed and dead bodies were dumped in the river next to it while all the women and children were massacred in the hall of Isfahani Jute Mill. There were only two children survivors that Pakistan army pulled out alive from the rubble of dead bodies. One of these two survivors is still alive, living in Canada and suffers from a severe form of PTSD. When genocide started, this is the same community that paid security money to your so called first prime minister in exile, Tajjudin Ahmed, on his demand.

In People’s More mill community, there was not even a single survivor and the water reservoir beside the mill was full of deadbodies. When water dried in summer, there were thousands of severed heads of Biharis lying on ground, telling the story of what happened there. The same massacre was carried out in every corner of East Pakistan, specially in the areas bordering India. Your Kanchan river water turned red due to the blood of Biharis killed by Bengali agents of India. 

Dear Tariq Rahman, the irony is that Genociders have audacity to observe Genocide day without any remourse because they know the world doesn’t know the scale of genocide perpetrated by their own brethren against the non Bangalis. I have spent more than three years in researching Bihari genocide, I have extensively travelled to meet survivors and cross check their stories. I can write pages and pages on this forgotten genocide but for now, this beginner course is enough to enlighten you who do you owe respect and apology.

🚨 The propagandists inside Afghanistan claim that Pakistan targeted a hospital. This claim collapses under basic logic.

1. Pakistan targeted a logistical hub. Hospitals do not produce secondary explosions. Ammunition depots do.

2. Anti aircraft guns are not stationed outside hospitals; they are stationed outside military or logistics sites.

3. A 2,000 bed hospital, when attacked, creates immediate chaos. Ambulances, alarms, patients, doctors, and staff flood the scene. Everyone has a phone. Yet not a single credible video or evidence of such chaos exists.

4. After such an attack, the first move is to bring in journalists to build international pressure. Instead, access was delayed for over 12 hours. When selected journalists finally entered, they reported no bloodstains and massively overstated casualties.

5.Satellite imagery shows the strike hit Phoenix Camp, while the so called Omid Hospital is miles away. The claim does not hold.

6.This was a logistical hub supplying ammunition to the banned TTP. The same ammunition was used against innocent civilians inside Pakistan.

That is the reality. These are the facts. The rest is propaganda by Afghan Talibans and their agenda coordinators in different media outlets……

اسی طرح ایران والا معاملہ ہے، انہیں اب سمجھ آرہی ہے جب ایران نے پاکستان کا شکریہ ادا، جب ایران کے ریاستی عہدے دار پاکستان سے رابطے کررہے ہیں، جب یہ بات چل رہی ہے کہ آبنائے ہرمز سے چین، روس اور پاکستان کے کارگو (عموماً پورے پورے شپ پاکستان کے بہت کم ہوتے ہیں) گزارنے کی بات ہورہی ہے، ایران نے سعودی عرب پر حملے نا کرنے کی یقین دہانی بھی کروائی ہے، اور یہاں پاکستان سے بیان بھی چل رہے ہیں کہ ہمارے لئے "اگلا نمبر" والی مالا جپی تو پورا شمشان گھاٹ جلے گا.
