Good morning! Before you judge. Before you assume. Before you label someone take time and get to know them. Listen to their story. Listen to what drives them and why. If we take time to hear others stories we may be a little less quick to judge. Have a great day!👊
It’s not just students who need words of affirmation, but colleagues, staff and admin need them as well. Connecting and building strong relationships takes the whole team. Encourage someone today.
School culture is not created by a mission statement (most don't even know their statement says), catch phrases or educational buzz words, but it is created by the ACTIONS of everyone associated with the school.
Admin, try to make these your DAILY 5:
* Be the thermostat of positive culture
* Be accountable to your staff
* Be selfless: serving staff is leadership
* Be available: in the hallways, bus stop, classroom, cafeteria
* CHEER-leader. Praise & celebrate staff/students!
