Thanks to the Knicks, I watched more NBA in the past 30 days than I have the last 30 years, and you know what? They remind me more of the 1969 Mets than any New York champion since.
What a likeable group of men. Congratulations. Savor every morsel. It’s forever!
It was always going to take an extraordinary group of men to get the Knicks over the hump. This was an extraordinary group.
The truest definition of a team. Chemistry. Selflessness. Sacrifice. A group greater than the sum of its parts.
Congratulations to the 2026 Knicks. It’s not often a team captures the imagination of an entire city, but this one did. What a ride.
I literally never thought I would see this in my lifetime!
I'm envious the 1990s Knicks didn't win a championship, but, either way, I literally never thought I would see the day!
@ovppodcast Wasn't this the night that Bret and Shawn were sent home before the show because of the brawl they had in which Bret ripped some of Shawn's hair out??
@BadlandsTOJ@NYJets285@PatrickEngels7 The 1996 Jets should have won 6-8 games! They had a solid amount of talent.
I do find it both fascinating and humorous that Glenn and Reich were starters on that team though.

@JCaporoso In the last calendar year (1999) the Knicks were in the NBA Finals, the Jets played in the AFC Championship Game.
Not a question, but an historical fact.
