Elon Musk does not sit on a large pile of cash.

His wealth, like most billionaires, is tied up in stocks / ownership in companies, primarily Tesla and SpaceX. I’d honestly be shocked if he had even $100 million in liquid assets.

But even if Musk had a fat stash of cash, it isn’t yours, it isn’t mine, and it isn’t the federal government’s. The amount of someone else’s money you are entitled to is exactly $0.00.

The reason 60% of American citizens are struggling to get by is largely because of cumulative inflation (worsened in certain cases by poor spending habits) and high taxes, both of which are directly the fault of members of Congress like you who do everything but pass a balanced budget.

🚨#BREAKING: A mother is FURIOUS after a Pennsylvania town CRIMINALLY CHARGED her two little girls, ages 10 and 12, and dragged them into court...

...because a playground swing broke while they were spinning on it.

Yes, you read that right.

The two girls twisted the chains to get dizzy, the chain snapped, and the borough's response was CRIMINAL MSCHIEF CHARGES for a 10-year-old.

This is Springdale, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh.

On May 21st, a group of kids were playing at Veterans Memorial Park where two sat on the swing and the others twisted the chains up tight and let go, so the swing would spin them dizzy.

Every one of us did this as a kid... hundreds of times.

The chain broke. Nobody was hurt.

Two weeks later, a POLICE OFFICER showed up at Katie Huss's front door with SURVEILLANCE PHOTOS of the children on a swing.

The borough had split the repair bill among five kids.

$59 dollars each.

Three families paid up and their kids' charges disappeared.

Katie demanded more information:

"Show me the evidence my daughters did this on purpose and show me the swing was even inspected prior to this occuring."

She didn't pay and so her 10 and 12-year-old daughters were CHARGED WITH A CRIME.

Criminal mischief.

BY the way... under Pennsylvania's criminal code, that is a charge that requires INTENT.

The two little girls were terrified and had to sit in a courtroom while a police officer testified against them for "not using the swing properly."

Thankfully, the judge threw it out and found them not guilty.

It was CLEARLY an accident, not a crime.

...you would think it would end there, but it doesn't!!!

The borough is now threatening to sue this mother in CIVIL court over $180.

And Katie still hasn't been allowed to see the video they used against her children, it was shown to the lawyers, but not to the mom.

Nearly every single day, violent repeat offenders WALK OUT OF JAIL ALL THE TIME to prey on innocent people...

...but INSTEAD of dealing with that, we have built a system that lets predators go and prosecutes children for playing AT A PARK USING SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE TO WATCH THEM

Ryan Reynolds wasn’t American, wasn’t an adult in the ’80s, and wasn’t anywhere near the decade he’s now narrating like a Ken Burns special.

He was a Vancouver kid. The Cuban Missile Crisis was over before he could tie his shoes. What he “spewed” isn’t memory. It’s press-tour homework for a movie set in a country and a childhood he didn’t have.

The ’80s in America were an epic time. Music, movies, sports, cars, comedy, invention, swagger.

People who actually grew up in the 80's remember that., even now everyone talks about the 80's. He remembers a briefing packet and a line about “trauma” that testers thought would sound deep.

Nobody in 1985 was walking around going, “Still pretty fresh off the Cuban Missile Crisis.”

Her name is Karyann Parkinson and she is probably the furthest thing from an "unfit mother" you will ever meet.

She has a degree in family science. She was a family life educator. She spent three years as a live-in behavioral specialist caring for 35 troubled girls. Her husband is a family therapist.

They moved to Virginia so she could go to William & Mary LAW SCHOOL.

This past June, eight months pregnant and studying for the bar, she took her boy Sam on their usual bike ride to the pond.

When they got home, he asked to walk back for more feathers.

Just a half-mile walk home on a sidewalk with ten feet of grass between him and the road.

Two crosswalks he'd used hundreds of times, inside a gated neighborhood with 24-hour security and a 25 mph speed limit.

She said yes, and she made lunch.

A stranger saw a kid walking and called security.

The guard marched Sam home and told this 5-year-old that his mommy did something wrong

His mother says it "scared the crap out of him."

Then the guard called the cops. Then the cop called backup.

Within minutes: THREE police cars. Three officers. A security vehicle. Two CPS workers. All at one mother's front door.

For a kid walking home on a sidewalk

CPS told her husband, "a 5-year-old child can never be unsupervised."

Never. Not for one minute. Not in a gated community. Not on a sidewalk.

That is the government's position on YOUR children.

They put her on the child abuse and neglect registry.

Seven years.

They charged her with "contributing to the delinquency of a minor."

A charge meant for parents who let their kids do drugs and skip school.

Last week, a judge convicted her and she got six months in jail, suspended and a permanent criminal record.

She can likely never volunteer at her kids' school again.

She may never be allowed to practice law.

What are we doing here????

Kids used to walk to school ALL THE TIME.

I used to ride bikes with my friends until till the streetlights came on... no one ever knew where I was and it didn't matter because this WAS AMERICA.

Now a five-year-old can't walk to a pond without three squad cars and a criminal conviction for his mother???

Begin with the question He asked:

Cuban Missile crisis? Uh no most of us didn’t worry about it. I only talked about it in history class because it was over in 1962! However I did worry in the 80’s about getting that swatch watch I wanted that was sold out. Gimme a break. The 80’s were awesome. The 80’s like any decade had some challenges but we just came outa the Vietnam war era and it was like a total relief. From Reagan to the fall of Soviet Union, to some of the best classic movies and songs. Nobody getting cancelled for saying dumb stuff. Nobody dropping f bombs as loud as they could at the mall food court because most people at least still knew how to act in public. I was 17 Feb 17 1980. Some of the greatest memories of my life. It was like living in a John Hughes movie before I ever knew who he was. I don’t know what Canada was like for this guy in the 80’s but for most of us that grew up in the states in the 80’s it was pretty awesome and if I had a chance and was granted 1 week to go back in time I’d head straight to 1985 even though I was dead broke. I’m sure x will have the normal people bitching and moaning about this post because they live in a constant state of anger but just like in the 80’s I could care less about or have time for idiots that hate everything . The 80’s rocked. Now excuse me while I pop on some Night Ranger and a little Huey topped with some classic Strait. Let’s Git-r-done!

I was a teenager when the ’80s ended, and it was an INCREDIBLE time to be alive.

No social-media rage farming. The Miracle on Ice kicked off the decade, and the Berlin Wall and communism came crashing down at the end. Reagan putting up monster GDP growth numbers. Pre-woke MTV. Indiana Jones. No men in women’s bathrooms. And much, much more.
