Today, 12/11, is celebrated as international #ATSEP day. ATSEP make sure pilots and passengers can fly safely to their destination thanks to Radar technology, navigation aids, radio infrastructure, and all ATM/CNS systems that contribute to Air Traffic Control Services. #IFATSEA

@Saab was present to show their latest radar surveillance products. @eposaudiogaming showcased how they deliver high-end audio solutions designed for ATC. @RohdeSchwarz were demonstrating their specialized measurement equipment that are used to certify CNS equipment (4/4)

Guntermann & Drunck GmbH gave an interesting presentation on their professional KVM solutions for, amongst others, remote tower concepts. Entry Point North was giving the latest insights on their ATSEP training portfolio and how they can support #ATSEP (3/4)

Jotron gave an overview on their high-end air traffic communication solutions. @thalesgroup together with SANS (Saudi Air Navigation Services) presented their joint initiative on their Maintenance Management System (MMS) concept under their development (2/4)

Today the industrial partners/sponsors from the @IFATSEA General Assembly 2022 presented their products && solutions supporting #ATSEP. @ARTISYS and @SkyRadarSystems presented their unique aviation training solutions ranging from radar data simulators to tower simulators (1/4)

ATSEP are in the best position to analyze, coordinate & manage these threats thanks to their competency and oversight. However expert training on cyber security is key to further mature this role. (2/2)

@IFATSEA General Assembly day 3. Erik Roos started the SAFETY subcommittee with a presentation on the role of #ATSEP in #cybersecurity. ATSEP are managing CNS/ATM operational equipment, therefore are the first to detect a cyber threat/attack. (1/2)
