Woop woop, got me a ticket for #umbraco in the city, looking forward to seeing loads of my Umbraco pals. Working from home is great, but I do miss seeing actual people occasionally!
@carlcod_es Bin fire. Since the takeover, every follow Iโve got has been bots, and the quality of the adverts is somewhat dubious. Plus most of the suggested posts are either fashy, porny, or racist ๐ still the odd account posting good stuff but itโs VERY quiet in here compared to before
๐ฟ Codegarden Season 20 is on YouTube! From inspiring keynotes to jaw-dropping demos - every talk is ready to watch ๐ฅ Watch. Re-watch. Binge like itโs your favorite series.

@dillorscroft@The_DarkGhost@umbraco Lack of x86 support on apple silicon is a bit of a deal killer for anyone that has to work on older sites. Itโs why Iโm still on an Intel iMac at home.
Safe travels to all my #umbraco pals at the MVP summit and #codegarden this week! Hope you all have a blast ๐ had hoped to FINALLY make it back this year, but stuff got int the way unfortunately!
@BreezeRachel@GarminUK Iโve got the 830, and yeah, compared to say the sports watches, which have pretty intuitive UX, the Edge UI sucks balls. Iโve not used mine for quite a while, but if youโve got any questions I can see if I can remember how it all works ๐
@BreezeRachel@GarminUK What did you get? The one thing thatโs shocking with the Garmin cycle computers is that for a company that builds navigation devices, the route finding is shockingly poor. Donโt rely on it EVER. Unless you want to go in insane detours.
@troyhunt@jonskeet Iโve seen this one about a dozen times on my timeline in the last week or so, almost always a friend of a friend whoโs been hacked and my friend is tagged. It provokes a very visceral reaction, as youโre like โOMG has something happened to XXXโ.
T minus two weeks until Leeds marathon, then itโs GOBYU the week after. Once thatโs out of the way, Iโve got another three months to get myself ready to attempt to run from Liverpool to Leeds. If I couldnโt make 111 miles last year in one go, 130 should doable right? ๐
Weโre still buzzing from hosting our first #UmbracoLeedsMeetup ๐
Great conversations, awesome community vibes โ and plenty of pizza ๐
Thanks to everyone who came, and to Andy Boot and Matt Swain for their brilliant talks ๐ฌ๐

I appreciate this site is mostly bereft of the tech folks I joined it for now, but I find myself with a couple of days availability a week for at least the next month or so. If you need an experienced Umbraco dev for projects, give me a shout ๐
โฐ MVP Award application deadline is TODAY! โฐ
So, if youโre an active Umbraco Community contributor and youโd like to be on stage at Codegarden, receiving your Umbraco MVP award to rapturous applause, youโd better get your skates on and apply now! ๐ผ๐
