An indication of how segregated entertainment still was in the 90s/2000s. White people really didn't care what was going on over at UPN until the network was successful enough for them to buy it, then they cancelled some of their most successful shows and replaced it with white programming.

The only black shows they really rated were Cosby and Fresh Prince because they were actual ratings competition.
