@Tee_viii @ChardineTaylor I agree that the BBC failed their duty of care to both MBJ and DL, and black viewers, who were hurt and harmed by the broadcast. And I have no doubt that a black person with Tourette’s would have been treated with less empathy. But that’s not the subject of earlier post.

@ChardineTaylor The framing of your post seems to suggest that you can only have empathy and compassion for black people OR disabled people? We can and should recognise the severe mental health harm being done to anyone who has suffered racism and been discriminated against due to disability.

The BBC made a conscious decision not to bleep out the n-word and should absolutely apologise for that.
