And just like that, another Saratoga meet is in the books. We chased that first Saratoga win all summer. We came damn close more than once, and while we didn’t get it this time, I couldn’t be more proud of the way our horses showed up and competed. 9 starts. 3 seconds, 2 thirds and a fourth. And the most expensive horse we ran this meet cost $62,500. I think that last part might be what I’m most proud of. This is a really hard game, and Saratoga is an even harder place to compete. There’s still room in this game for the little guys to come over and take their shot, and the beauty of Saratoga is that we get to do exactly that. But I think what made this summer even more special had very little to do with the numbers. Somehow along the way we’ve brought together an incredible group of clients who have really become one big family. I’m so thankful for every person who trusts our team with their horses, believes in what we’re building and genuinely wants to see everyone in the barn succeed. I’m also incredibly grateful that I got to have my own family by my side all summer. They were at the barn constantly, cheering us on through all of it. Getting to train a horse that my parents own a piece of is something that will probably never stop being special to me.
Today was another one of those full-circle moments. I got to send Barb over for Dennis and Simone, who were basically my second family growing up. There’s something pretty incredible about getting to grow up around people and then, years later, have them trust you with a horse at Saratoga. To have Barb run third for them today made the last day of the meet that much more special. And a huge thank you to Javi, Julian, Jerry and Carlos. They are there every single day putting in the work, loving these horses and keeping this whole thing moving. None of these results happen without them. The babies continue to work along, and we have some very exciting things coming with them. For now, it’s on to Belmont and for the first time in 6 years, I’ll be spending the entire winter there. Thoughts, prayers and flight points to Florida on snow days are much appreciated 😂
“When the favorites fail, Katie brings the mail.”
“Looking for a price? Katie’s the advice.”
“Before you leave the track, bet Katie to get it back.”
“When the chalk looks shaky, money goes on Katie.”
When Julie Krone was riding, there was an old track saying:
“Before you go home, bet Julie Krone.”
Now we need one for Katie Davis.
I’ve got a few good ones. Which one do you like best?

It’ll be great to be back at the Spa, my all time favorite racing venue.
If you have one going and are looking for a rider, keep me in mind. More rides, more opportunities 😃 hit up my agent, @joesantos_33

All I see and hear everyday is how corrupt horse racing is . How it’s dying. And all I do is just keep dumping my net worth into trying to buy grey horses who can win big races and when Im not doing that I’m losing every day betting. I gotta be the biggest moron of them all. On that note welcome to the #GoGoGrey family!
