Turning Knowledge Against the Sentinels | Post 3.7 SB

The Ministry of Sentinel Affairs discovered that Hsin's frequency had become extremely unstable. Since Hsin's condition is directly connected to the state of the Sanctum, the Ministry took temporary measures to protect the people directly. However, if Hsin were to be placed in a truly critical situation, her instability could also cause the Sanctum to collapse.

This indicates that the existential condition of Hsin and Xuanfang Hold is essentially interconnected. Protecting Hsin means protecting the Hold, while damage to Hsin could potentially translate into damage to the Sanctum. If Hsin's frequency collapses, the Hold itself could collapse and fall to the ground. We can already see a spoiler of this from the Sonoro found in Xuanfang.

This is the kind of chaos that Muyu can cause, creating a situation like this. We all know that what Muyu wants is the knowledge contained within the Civilization Capsule, not merely the Capsule itself. However, Balanophora seems to equate Muyu with the Court of Savantae when it comes to their obsession with knowledge.

If we connect this to Mt. Firmament, the Court of Savantae was not simply an ordinary group of scientists. They were known for attempting to understand the power of the Sentinel through direct research on Jué. They even succeeded in creating the Chronosorter, an artificial resonance object that mimicked part of Jué's temporal abilities.

Fractsidus then took the results of that research and used them against Jué. If we look at the current situation in Xuanfang, it seems as though the Fractsidus are trying to create a possibility of a "Court of Savantae 2.0" in other words, exploiting the same principles behind the Court of Savantae's research once again, this time using Muyu's research on Reverberation as the foundation.

Perhaps this is how they are able to corrupt Hsin, ultimately causing Hsin to isolate herself.

This tactic is indeed quite similar to what they did in Jinzhou. When Ovathrax became active again in 1.0, Jinzhou was facing a major crisis, yet Jué did not appear to directly confront the Threnodian. After learning about Jué's condition in 1.1, we received a retrospective explanation that Jué was indeed not in a state where it was free to fight.

As the story progressed, we eventually learned that the cause was Fractsidus' intervention. The Court of Savantae recorded that Jué had been severely injured and had lost one of its Temporal Programs. As a result, the Temporal barrier surrounding the area of Mt.Firmament where the flow of time is abnormal was at risk of expanding beyond Mt. Firmament and potentially reaching Jinzhou.

Fortunately, Jinshi arrived and claimed Jué's Temporal Mandate, taking over its authority and restoring the flow of time to normal.

So from this, the pattern the Fractidus uses is that they repeatedly look for weaknesses within the Sentinel power systems, then turn human technologies that were originally created to understand or assist the Sentinels into weapons against them.

Muyu's research appears to be following a path that has historically produced technology capable of at least disrupting the kernel technology of a Sentinel, which may eventually be exploited by the Fractsidus to bring down a Sentinel.

All of this is part of one of their already revealed objectives, obtaining the Mengzhou Civilization Capsule.
