Salon workers threatened over R2,500 ‘protection fee’ in Nyanga
Salon workers around Nyanga Terminus are reportedly living in fear after a group allegedly threatened workers with firearms, took some of their phones and demanded a monthly R2,500 “protection fee” from salon owners.
Authorities are urged to investigate the allegations and protect workers and businesses from intimidation and extortion.
