I run, hike, ride bikes. Work for and love the NHS. Like nice pub food and good beer. Muddling through life with a wonderful wife and a slightly deranged collie
@True23290qyom@CharlieMoloney So where did the Washington Post get those figures from then ?
Out of interest ... go, on, let us all know who produced those numbers.
Pretty please
@True23290qyom@CharlieMoloney LOL !
Next thing you'll be claiming they weren't even there
Intent doesn't matter. They broke into a building, smashed equipment, and threatened and assaulted staff and police.
They got exactly what they deserved
@True23290qyom@CharlieMoloney Really ?
So this article, and all the evidence in the court, were false then ?

Alternatively, you're trying to defend a cunt who attacked a policewoman with a sledgehammer, AND broke her back
I know which one I believe
@True23290qyom@CharlieMoloney So the sledgehammer that one of them was carrying just randomly attacked a policewoman and broke her back itself did it ?
@JuliaBramble My deepest sympathies.
I know what you mean - my parents (late 80s) had both been in pretty good health until about 2 years ago. Dad in particular has greatly increased frailty and memory issues, and it wouldn't be a great surprise to get 'that' phone call any morning
@zoemarieknight@metpoliceuk Maybe your DL was less than 3 months old at the time, so was valid as proof of address ?
Maybe the rules have been changed ?
@zoemarieknight@metpoliceuk Because it's really clearly written on the guidance, yet you seem unable to read it, and want to blame the Met for your lack of reading.
READ the notes in 'Proof of address'.
'... and be dated within the last 3 months'
It really is crystal clear
@zoemarieknight CURRENT address. Click on the blue bit that links to 'More information on which forms of ID we accept'
Your passport, DL etc are all proof of WHO you are. They also want a bill from a proper company to show WHERE you live right now.
@zoemarieknight They state that the proof of address has to be a bill, bank statement, etc from within the last 3 months.
This information was also sent to you originally.
@CB_cycles Sure you probably already know this, but the canalpath between the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies (about 4 miles I think) is really nice. We parked at the Kelpies and ran out and back a few years ago when up there on holiday
@GeoffBuysCars Every time I go past the local (Chester) LR dealership there are AA/recovery vehicles dropping off cars.
Every single time. Without fail
@LuvSeekinTruth@JordanEVGuy Well, having done a lot of UK road trips, from North Wales to Inverness, Northumberland, Cornwall, Dorset, Lake District, Kent ...
The number of times I've pulled in and had to wait for a charger, even for a minute, is precisely zero
Have you ever had to wait for a petrol pump ?
@freethinker967@JordanEVGuy I wonder, if you'd been around in the 1920s, if you'd have 'stuck with the horse, thanks'.
In the 1980s, "I'll stick with my carburettor, thanks, none of this fuel injection nonsense for me"
