Seeing @puredentng on the shelves in Jendol today made me very happy. Zero Fluoride!

I woke up one morning to a message from someone that he was led to give to the ministry. When he eventually sent the seed, it was timely and it was quite heavy for the season we were in. What a joy it was.

Then I made a mistake: Some months afterwards, we needed to get something done. I sent the person a message. I am sure the Holy Spirit must have smiled at me. Well! The person eventually gave a token. I am sure he did it simply because he did not want me to feel bad. I got the memo from the "Resources Deployment Department" of Heaven: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding or on man. Look to God and not man.

If you are in ministry or you are a believer building your walk of faith this season, take note of this: one of the mistakes you will make if you are not careful is to turn a giver that the Lord himself touched into a sponsor. Be careful.

If God touches a man to meet your needs miraculously in a season of life or ministry, never take your eyes off the Lord to the man. If you do, you would not be focused on God and you would still get nothing from man.

If you trust the Lord, when He shows up, He comes big. But if you go about relying on human props and soliciting, you will be treated as a beggar. You will get tokens. Do not start mounting pressure on someone who sensed the Lord would have him to her give to you. Now, you bombard them with every need you have. Two things will happen: First, they will likely get irritated. Second, you would have lost the opportunity to build your faith by trusting the Lord.

This is the time to stop calculating. Stop all those mathematical gymnastics like, "If 50 people give us 10,000 naira, the work is done". That is how marketers with deadlines to meet think. You are not a marketer. You are a minister. Look to the one who called. You are God's child lean on your father. You are not an orphan.

The waiting season builds our faith and strengthens our character. For God, it is not just about what you receive, it is more about how much of Christ-likeness you caught in the process:

While waiting, were you grateful or grumpy?
While trusting, were you content, or were you comparing? Did you become calculative or did you still trust the leading of the Lord? Did you become manipulative or you maintained a heart of integrity?

The only time asking is permitted is when you are sure you are instructed to. God told the Israelites to ask the Egyptians. They left with wealth. Jesus told the disciples to get the colt. If it is not instructed, do not start doing guesswork.

If you continue, your phone list will soon be full of people you are asked for "urgent 2k" and you will not be sure of who to ask again. That is not how to build your faith and walk with the Lord.

When you are in faith, pressure dies!

Reading through Numbers 10:29, I noticed something crucial. Moses turns to Hobab, his brother-in-law. Hobab isn’t an Israelite. He’s a Midianite. An outsider. And Moses says, in effect, We’re heading to the place God promised us. Come with us. Stick with us. God has promised good things, and if you walk this road with us, those blessings can be yours too.

This is huge.

Moses doesn’t say, Sorry, this is just for the Jews. He doesn’t say, You’re the wrong bloodline. He doesn’t say, God only works with us. He says, Come with us. Walk with us. God’s goodness isn’t locked behind a fence. It covers you too.

When you slow down and really read it, this verse quietly blows up a popular idea. Some people like to say the gospel was only meant for the Jews and that Gentiles were a later add-on. That simply doesn’t hold up. This passage alone cracks that theory wide open.

The fact is, when Israel left Egypt, it wasn’t just Jews marching out. Egyptians went with them too. Other people did. God didn’t say, Everyone else stay behind. From the very beginning, anyone who wanted to follow Him was welcome to come along.

This hit me hard when I finally saw it because of all the times I have been reading the Bible. I had read this story before, several times, but I missed how far-reaching it really is. God’s heart was never small. It was never exclusive. It was always open to all.

That same God shows up in the New Testament doing the exact same thing. Jesus sends His followers to all nations. Isaiah says God’s servant would be a light to the Gentiles. Peter finally realizes God shows no favoritism. Same message. Same heart.

So the gospel didn’t start out Jewish-only and then expand later. It was always meant for the whole world. From Moses inviting Hobab, all the way to Jesus inviting us.

And that includes you.

God’s invitation has always been simple. Come with Me. Walk with Me. Trust Me. And you’ll share in the good things I’ve promised.

I think this here is the cause of all the marital problems we have abroad. Our women are no longer comfortable with this type of marriage and unless you start having conversations with whoever you want to marry early about what type of marriage they would accept and see if it suits you, these things will always come up.
I’ve also seen instances people agreed to this just to get married and then switch afterwards.
My only concern is, if something is not done, marriage may become extinct in the next 10 years.
It calls for a serious introspection and discussion. Families are being destroyed daily and kids put in vulnerable situations.

My 2nd child came to hubby and said,

"Dad, can I get a papper clip for my home work"? He gave it to her.

My last child said "Dad, can you give me $2 to eat ice cream in school at recess? He gave it to her.

My 1st child said "Dad, why is is that you always have everything we you ask for?

Hubby replied and said, Thats why you call me father. Father means Source. Meaning he thinks ahead of the needs of his family and makes provisions for them even before they need it. Thats why I always have things ready even before you ask. Because I think of your needs ahead of mine. 🥺🥰

His reply to her warmed my heart. And thats how he is, Aside from the times he witholds some things from them so that they can learn about life that you don't often get what you want in life.

I wanna pray for all the Sources (Fathers) out there. May the Source you draw from to replenish your families never run dry🙏 May you not be weary, may God bless the works of your hands 🙏
