July 1, 2026. Delhi’s new EV Policy has been officially notified in the Gazette and is now in effect.

From today, buyers of electric two-wheelers will receive a ₹30,000 subsidy, electric three-wheelers ₹50,000, and N1 category light commercial vehicles ₹1 lakh.

All electric cars priced below ₹30 lakh are fully exempt from Road Tax and Registration Fee.

The government is also offering scrappage incentives for those replacing old vehicles with new EVs.

Many people are asking, “Will petrol vehicles be phased out?”

The answer is no.

32 साल बाद आखिरकार हरियाणा और राजस्थान के बीच 1994 के यमुना जल समझौते को लागू करने को लेकर MoU पर हस्ताक्षर हुआ।

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की मौजूदगी में हरियाणा और राजस्थान सरकारों ने इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री सी.आर. पाटिल, हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी और राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री भजनलाल शर्मा भी मौजूद रहे।

1994 में ऊपरी यमुना नदी बोर्ड (UYRB) के तहत यमुना जल बंटवारे को लेकर समझौता हुआ था, लेकिन पिछले 32 वर्षों से यह लागू नहीं हो पाया था।

समझौते के तहत अब राजस्थान को मानसून के दौरान हथिनीकुंड बैराज से भूमिगत पाइपलाइन के माध्यम से उसका निर्धारित जल हिस्सा उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।
