The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for all of Boulder County on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Open burning, including agricultural burning, is prohibited.

“The red flags are coming! The red flags are coming!”

Yes, we know it’s a different approach. Red Flag Warnings have become frequent, and we don’t want an important safety message to become something people simply scroll past. If a creative video gets you to stop, watch, and share it with others, then it’s doing exactly what it’s was intended to do.

While the video is meant to be fun, the conditions are serious. As we head toward the Independence Day holiday, dry vegetation, low humidity, and gusty winds can allow a small spark to become a fast moving wildfire.

Please follow all fire restrictions, avoid activities that could spark a fire, and help keep our communities safe.

@3speach3 @brittny_mejia @ShorealoneFilms Please review the facts. The person they arrested allegedly started the fire a week BEFORE the Palisades Fire. Allegedly the fire department did not fully extinguish that fire and a week later when the Santa Ana winds hit allegedly the fire rekindled.
