Post marriage, 1 thing I am following what I promised myself I would do. Take care of my family and my wife @mitanshamits . In the next year, I will give them more time than I did them this year. I will give anything for it except personal time.

💬 Notifications (be it app or email) are a classic example of designing negative spaces:

It doesn't matter much how many times a user clicked on a notification and came to my app.

It matters much more how many times a notification was sent to a user and they didn't use those to come to my app.

Just wrapped up - my longest bug fix stretch till date. Fixing sign-up flows, badges as well as community bugs. Handing it over to the team for exhaustive testing. Onto what's next!!!

Firebase_auth was not able to fetch whether the user was logged in before a cold start or not through in-memory. Enabled temp cache via flutter_secure_storage.

Facing a bug in android leading to lot of logouts when cold start happens/app updates. A lot of fixes made, all in vain. Team getting logged out, one user got logged out. Traced out the issue to be a firebase_auth fetch failure from cache. Enabled encrypted caching for it! Yayyy!

Difficult to reproduce on emulators, only happening for in real world android phones. A bug in firebase_auth
