Six months ago,

System Design felt intimidating.

Today,

I'm designing systems for fun.

Progress hides in consistency.

Every week I ask myself:

Am I becoming more employable than last week?

That's the metric.

Being unplaced doesn't define me.

Quitting would.

Some weeks give offers.

Some weeks give lessons.

Both move you forward.

The journey hasn't been easy.

But I've learned more in the last few months than in years of college.

I don't know when the offer will come.

I do know I'll be more prepared when it does.

One interview can change everything.

Until then,

I'm changing myself.

Keep going.

The more HLD I learn,

the more I realize scaling is mostly about removing bottlenecks.

Today's engineering thought:

Every abstraction leaks eventually.

Most engineering problems aren't coding problems.

They're design problems.

The deeper I go into backend,

the more I appreciate simple systems.

Dynamic Programming isn't difficult.

Finding the state usually is.

Some people binge Netflix.

I binge recursion trees.

The best feeling isn't getting AC.

It's recognizing the pattern before reading the solution.

Every difficult problem eventually becomes "easy."

The only requirement is staying long enough.

One realization:

Interview preparation is less about memorizing solutions.

More about recognizing patterns.

DP teaches more than coding.

It teaches breaking impossible-looking problems into smaller decisions.
