THE REALITY OF OUR IDENTITY I
1 Corinthians 13:12 (AMP): “For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].”
We live in a generation struggling with a crisis of identity. This crisis has also found its way into the Body of Christ. Many believers do not truly know who they are.
Most drift through life allowing the opinions of men, circumstances, and society to define them. Very few pause to ask themselves, “Who am I?”
Today, I pose this question to you: Who are you, child of God?
This is not about what others have said about you or even what you think of yourself. The real question is: who are you in the eyes of God?
Moreover, this question should not be answered from a merely generic perspective, such as, “I am a child of God.” It must be narrowed down to the individual and granular essence of your uniqueness.
Our theme scripture reveals that the believer is fully known by God. The Lord knows the A to Z of your existence, even down to the subatomic particles of your essence.
You are fully known.
The only way you can accurately know yourself is to know the God who fully knows you. Any journey of self-discovery that removes God from the equation is bound to be fruitless or, at best, only partial in its discovery of your true essence and distinction. It is only in getting to know God that you begin to see who you truly are. The more you know Him, the more you know yourself.
FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 139:1-16; Jeremiah 1:5
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this word. What a blessed assurance to be fully known by You. You know the beginning and the end of my life, the depths of my spirit, and the uniqueness of my purpose. You teach me to see myself through Your eyes and not through the limitations of experience or the pressures of society. As I grow in the knowledge of You, You establish me in my identity, my distinction, and my purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH
John 1:1 (NKJV): “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
The Bible records many voices: God’s, Satan’s, angels’, and men’s. Some people erroneously assume that everything recorded in Scripture is God Himself speaking.
Job’s story illustrates this clearly. In his grief, Job cried out, “The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away” (Job 1:21). These words came from a man overwhelmed by loss, not directly from the mouth of God.
Later, Job himself admitted that he had spoken of things he did not understand (Job 42:3). His grief was real, but his statement did not accurately reveal God’s nature.
Separately, Job’s friends offered opinions that misrepresented God. They claimed that Job’s suffering was punishment for sin, but God rebuked them, saying that they had not spoken rightly of Him (Job 42:7). Their words were not divine revelation; they were human reasoning.
This teaches us an important principle in interpreting Scripture: we should separate the opinions of men from the oracle of God. The true Word of God is revealed through divine counsel and is aligned with His nature. When we read the Bible, we must discern the voice speaking. Is this God’s voice, man’s opinion or the enemy?
Doctrine must be built on what God has revealed, not on the mistaken words of men or the lies of the enemy.
The believer who rightly divides the Word does not merely quote Scripture; he understands the spirit, context, and counsel behind what is written. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:15; Hebrews 1:1-3
PRAYER: Father of Truth, I thank You for Your Word. I discern Your voice from every other voice recorded in Scripture. Your Spirit guides me into all truth, so that my faith rests on Your unchanging nature, Your goodness, and Your divine counsel. By this understanding, I see and know You more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
MARRIAGE SERIES: DEALING WITH WEAKNESS IN A SPOUSE
2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV): “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
God reveals to you the strength of your spouse to the degree that you are able to withstand their weakness.
Some spouses never truly come to know the strengths in their partners because they are too fixated on their weaknesses. They define them by what they struggle with, instead of discerning what God has placed within them.
By our theme scripture, God prompts us to look beyond weakness and understand that, many times, the very place of weakness is also the place where strength lies. This is because we are often tried in the areas where God has placed some of our greatest strengths.
For example, a spouse who has faced repeated financial struggles may not be weak with money in the way you assume. It may be that the enemy is fighting them in the very area where God has ordained them to build great wealth. A spouse who has struggled with anger may carry a strong sense of justice, passion, and conviction. When refined by love, patience, and the wisdom of God, that passion can become righteous zeal and strength for the family.
This means that if your spouse is struggling in a specific area, you must learn to change your perspective. Understand that the very place of trial may also be the place where great strength is hidden. If they are helped to rise above that struggle, they may accomplish great things in your family and beyond it.
For this reason, it is important to impute righteousness on your spouse. Learn to speak the things that are not as though they are. Speak strength where you have seen weakness. Speak greatness where you have seen struggle. By doing this, you call out what God has placed in their spirit, fortify them in what they are becoming, and help them overcome. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 4:17; Proverbs 18:21
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the gift of my spouse. I see them through Your eyes and Your truth. I have the grace to discern the strengths hidden beneath their struggles and the wisdom to speak life over them. You help me to cover them in love, and to participate in who they must become. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
12 years of God's undeniable faithfulness. Promises fulfilled. Destinies aligned. Lives elevated. The testimony continues!

THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS
Luke 13:1-5 (NKJV): “There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”
It is sometimes erroneously assumed that whenever bad things happen to believers, it is because they have done something wrong and are therefore under some form of judgment. This is not necessarily true.
In Jesus’ day, some Galileans were killed by Pilate while they offered sacrifices. Jesus asked, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered such things?” The obvious answer was no.
It is a reality of this world that the righteous sometimes suffer afflictions. They face difficulties and are challenged by certain circumstances. We should not adopt the attitude of Job’s friends, who took the narrow view that his suffering must have been the result of some form of unrighteousness on his part. This was ironic because, in Job 1:8, the Lord Himself boasted of Job as a blameless and upright man who feared God and shunned evil. The righteous go through storms too. But their assurance is that the Lord delivers them from them all (Psalm 34:19).
If you are going through a difficult situation, this devotional is meant to help you not lapse into self-condemnation, as though you are the just recipient of everything that has come your way. It is also a message to those of us who tend to assume that everyone going through a tough time is under judgment for some form of wickedness. It may simply be God perfecting His work in them. It may merely be a chapter in a very great story that will end in victory. Pray for them. Do not judge.
FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 34:19; 2 Corinthians 4:17
PRAYER: Father, I thank You because You are my deliverer and my refuge in every season. I refuse to condemn myself because of the things I may be going through, and I refuse to judge others because of the battles they face. You teach me to trust Your hand even in difficult times, knowing that You are working all things together for my good. I pray for others going through storms with love and understanding. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
I have a friend who was told that her first pregnancy would result in a baby born with disabilities and other complications. Throughout the pregnancy, the baby threatened to come out on several occasions. She experienced bleeding, underwent surgeries twice, and was placed on prolonged bed rest.
The doctors advised her to terminate the pregnancy, but she refused.
It was a very difficult season for her. While she wasn’t praying as much as I expected, I kept her in my prayers and trusted God on her behalf.
Fast forward to delivery day, the baby was breech. Baby that always wanted to come out, refused to come out this time. They waited and hoped he would turn on his own, but he didn’t. An emergency C-section became necessary.
When the baby was finally delivered, he was healthy, strong, and complete. No disabilities. No abnormalities. Just a beautiful miracle.
Doctors are knowledgeable, and many times they are right. But they don’t have the final say in every situation.
Do your part, follow medical advice, keep the faith, and leave the rest to God.
THE GOD OF PROMISE
Luke 2:25-30 (NKJV): “And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: ‘Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, according to Your word; for my eyes have seen Your salvation.’”
In our theme scripture, Simeon had received a divine promise that he would not see death until he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
The Bible presents him to us as a just and devout man, waiting for the Consolation of Israel. We can imagine that throughout his lifetime, he may have faced many challenges. Some may have been life-threatening. He may have encountered situations that seemed strong enough to destroy him. However, nothing he faced had the power to take his life before the fulfilment of God’s Word. Simeon was not alive merely because he knew how to preserve himself. He was alive because of the promise God had spoken over his life. He had to see the Lord’s Christ.
Child of God, this is the confidence you must carry. You are a man or woman under covenant. You are preserved by the promises of God. There are things that will never prematurely end you because of what God has spoken concerning your life. The storm may rise, but it cannot cancel the promise. The enemy may threaten, but he cannot frustrate what God has ordained.
If you ever find yourself in a trying situation or overwhelmed by circumstances, ask yourself, “What has God spoken over my life?” Then declare with faith, “I will live to see it!”
Has He said you will lend to nations? You must live to see it.
Has He said you will pastor multitudes? You must live to see it.
Has He said your children are for signs and wonders? You must live to see it.
You will not die before the manifestation of what God has spoken. You will live to see it. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Numbers 23:19; Psalm 118:17
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this word. Your Word over my life is sure, faithful, and unfailing. I refuse to be moved by fear or circumstance. I stand on what You have spoken concerning my life. I declare that I shall not die before the fulfilment of Your Word. I will live to see every promise You have made concerning me. I will see Your goodness, Your faithfulness, Your increase, and Your glory in the land of the living. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
FAITH IS NOT TIME-BOUND
Mark 4:12 (KJV): “That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.”
Have you ever wondered why one person hears the Word of God and immediately receives a miracle, while another hears the same Word and takes a while to see the manifestation of that truth?
This question has caused many to wonder whether God reserves miracles for some people only during specific seasons, or whether He chooses to heal some while ignoring others.
This, of course, is not true.
God is not partial or selective in His goodness. He does not withhold His power from one child while freely giving it to another.
Our theme scripture introduces a very important truth in the faith equation when it says, “lest at any time.”
This matter of time is not about whether God wants to answer you or not. It is about whether you see, perceive, and understand His truth, and by that understanding position your spirit to receive what grace has already made available.
The phrase “lest at any time” means that a man may receive his miracle right now, while another may receive the same truth years later. The difference is not in God’s willingness. The difference is in spiritual perception. One person sees the miracle now and receives it now. Another person sees it much later and receives it then.
So choose, child of God. Be the one who sees it now and receives it now. Be the one who does not postpone their “lest at any time.” Be the one whose “any time” is this hour, this minute, and this very second. Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 10:8-10; Hebrews 11:1
PRAYER: Father, I thank You because Your Word is true, living, and powerful. I refuse to limit my faith by time. I choose to see what You have made available to me in Christ. I believe that Your grace and power are present. I receive my healing, restoration, and deliverance. Today, I walk in the manifestation of Your promises. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
You are more than what you do, more than what you own, and more than what others say about you — you are uniquely created with worth and purpose. God has placed greatness in every woman.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: WISDOM, THE FOUNDATION OF WEALTH
Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV): " Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
In the order of divine providence, there is a divine pattern that must never be inverted: wisdom precedes wealth.
The scriptures provide us with a definitive example through the life of Solomon. It is not a coincidence that the wealthiest man to ever live was also the wisest. Heaven does not subscribe to the concept of a "rich fool."
The Bible warns us in Proverbs 1:32 that "the prosperity of fools shall destroy them." This is a spiritual law. If wealth comes to a man who lacks the wisdom to manage, multiply, or internalize its purpose, that wealth becomes a weapon of self-destruction.
Proverbs 23:5 says, “Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.”
Without the anchor of wisdom, riches develop wings and fly away, not because of "bad luck," but because there is no character or spiritual capacity to hold them.
God’s desire is for you to walk in the manifestation of the wealth He has availed but His priority is for you to be wise. When you seek wisdom, you are building the ability that can safely hold the abundance He desires to pour out. Wealth without wisdom is temporary; wealth built on wisdom has an enduring legacy.
FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 3:13-16; 1 Kings 3:13-16
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for Your Word. I settle my heart to seek wisdom as the principal thing. My capacity to handle Kingdom wealth is expanding because I am anchored in Your truth. I am a wise steward of the abundance You have ordained for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
