Kyle was not just a mentor, but also a friend. His impact on my career was significant, and I’m forever grateful to him for giving me a chance in the Truck Series over 13 years ago. He helped put me on a path in NASCAR from our first time racing each other at that 2012 Snowball Derby. He was one of the best in the sport who pushed us all to be better drivers. Kyle had an impact on so many careers in this sport. I’m heartbroken at the loss of this champion.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Busch family. Please keep them in your prayers during this difficult time. He will be missed.
When Kyle Busch ran — and won — the O’Reilly and Truck series nearly every week, me & Mom had a running gag at Sunday lunch:
“Guess who won the (ORS/Truck) race?”
“Kyle?”
“Yep”
That was, admittedly, from an eyerolly place. But gosh I never thought those days were over.

Welcome to the SAC, Commissioner Babcock!
“It Didn’t Seem Like An All-Star Race.” “Take it Back to Charlotte.” The King doesn’t sugarcoat his opinions about the All-Star race in the newest edition of the Petty Race Recap.

@NCFootballNews People have zero idea the quality of play that exists in a league like the SAC. Most of all of our players were the best or one of the best on their high school teams in talent rich states like NC/ SC/ GA/ and FL. Many are playing d2 only because an inch or two in height.
