Thai classes are starting for 2021.
Lessons for all levels will be at the same times as last term:
Monday - Thursday at 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, 3PM & 4PM.
See you AUA Esplanade Khae-Rai!
Because of COVID-19 closings of all schools in Bangkok, we are delaying our term start until February 1st.
Please stay tuned to our social media channels for the latest updates.
Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe, everyone!
For those using natural approaches, the end goal can be native-like fluency!
That's what Dr. JM Brown envisioned, and that is the goal of our Thai Studies program.
@beyondlanglearn made a great video explaining how & why we do what we do. Check it out: https://t.co/XIPmIjsh87
After 18 months, finally got around to making the one Thai dish I was still so badly craving and unable to find anywhere here (in fact I’ve never seen it in a restaurant outside Thailand): ‘nam tok’ noodle soup with pork shoulder, liver and blood 🩸🍝🥣😍 #sendnoodz#thaifood
A camera I used to make my #comprehensibleinput videos for English learners is broken! 😢 No problem, I'll use another camera and make a video about it to help beginners acquire English😁 https://t.co/tng7QGUyls
@ajhoge I'm creating videos so that beginners and people who don't know any English yet can watch and learn English effortlessly, based on methods like TPR, TPRS, and ALG: https://t.co/W2MsFgusme
Did you know that in Dansai, Loei Province there is a special festival called "Phi Ta Khon" (ผีตาโขน)? The festival involves dancing, colorful masks, parades, and much more! #AmazingThailand#Thailand
…@auathai was the only place I could find that gave me the opportunity as an adult to hear & experience a new language in ways that I could easily understand and pick it up, without forcing me to practice speaking it or relying on translating and trying to explain the language.
Many who attend @auathai want it to also have translations, grammar instruction, speaking practice, corrections, etc. But there's 100s of other places they can get those things. I came halfway around the world because it was the only school that just provided comprehensible input
YouTube videos for naturally acquiring languages are so few!
But @beyondlanglearn & @langdreamer are making excellent content for EN & ES.
@HitChinese is tackling the Mandarin market too. ;)
We hope everyone will keep sharing fun and engaging stories, demonstrations, and more!
@fluentlanguage It could be, with more content in languages that beginners could understand. Most YouTube videos are very comprehensible only to already advanced learners, and right now, most videos for beginners teach *about* languages rather than just use languages in ways they can understand.
