@norgliostro I think the problems is less about pop culture and is more related to the way fandoms started to use actual issues to take stuff out of context and call random celebrities "problematic"

@norgliostro Don't really blame him for that. Everyone who's loud about their political activism knows there's a price to pay. BC always seemed to know this and never care, back when he was younger. The invasion probably opened his eyes that the price now is his own family.

@norgliostro Looked it up just now. The guy had been arrested before for disrupting a protest against the military invasion in Syria, in 2015. So, I think it's safe to assume that the reason was political. That's when BC started lying low on his political views

@norgliostro I just hate how everything is used for stan wars and in the end it feels like no one actually cares about what's going aside of saying 'my fave did something first' and 'your fave did nothing'. Feels like more like an ego battle rather than people wanting to do something to help

@norgliostro And we don't even know why he wasn't loud about his support from the beginning. Aside of having no social media, he's recently had his home invaded, apparently for political reasons. While it can be a smaller issue compared to what's going on, it certainly wasn't for him

@freewomenxgrape Yeah. That woman made it quite clear what’s she going to do with all the money from the newest projects. Working with her (especially when you don’t actually HAVE TO) is just helping her pay to indirectly kill so many people who just want their right to live.
