Sudden snow storm this afternoon, most of the province of Alberta affected. We hunkered down at home grateful not to go out there in the whipping winds and very poor visibility. Hope all of you are safe and sound.
@nightsirens49@ElectionsCan_E The workers are informed in their training sessions about not just using pencils. Heck, we’ve all got an excess of pens so why not bring, use, and leave a couple in the vote booths? It’s fine (as long as no advertising politically).
@MillieG1937@ElectionsCan_E Get involved and see for yourself. Sign up to work in a polling station, go through training and see how it’s being done with skill and intentional fairness, by regular CITIZENS, such as you seem to be. Be informed.

Reminder:
In Alberta it is illegal for under 18 year olds to use a tanning bed, even with consent, and for under 25 require an ID.
It's also illegal to target minors with marketing for tanning beds.
In comparison, we have nutcases that think kids should be able to do irreversible surgeries and hormone therapies while constantly being bombarded with sexualization.
@StephenKing Southern Alberta, Canada…. City scenes filmed in Calgary and surrounding. I live here so we lived & worked round their production for a year. Definitely not Boston :)
@jannarden Yes! My gramma used them, inverted, on her lawns to offer fresh water to the birds. Robins mostly, which drank and splashed happily. Happy recall.
