Why is it a requirement to read, write, and speak English to become a U.S. citizen?
1) There are Americans who can’t read or write
2) There are millions upon millions of Americans who cannot even speak proper English
3) English is not the official language of the U.S. by law

Not disappointed that President Ross is stepping down because when I asked him what he was doing to make education affordable to students, esp. first gen., he said making sure they graduate in four years. See that’s a problem because some students can’t even afford one year.
