I'm not deleting my account, but I'm basically off Twitter now, because of the interfering, racist, fascist, narcissistic, unempathetic twat who owns it.
You can find me @audinarymusic on BlueSky.
Of course, when a President has broken so many of his own domestic laws, it's hardly surprising that he doesn't give a damn about the international rule of law. But I expect UK leaders - especially when they're former Human Rights lawyers - to call out such illegality.
I have no time for dictators, nor for drug dealers. But The US intervention in Venezuela is a fragrant breach of international law, and must be unequivocally condemned by all democratic leaders.
Our Christmas gig in Oxford on 13th December is now sold out. There are bound to be a few returns, so feel free to join the waiting list https://t.co/Abc4yeJj4D
A reminder that our Christmas concert in Oxford has a new venue this year. After 30-odd years we felt like a change! We think you'll like the venue just as much as the Holywell, and the seats are definitely more comfortable!

Being accountable to an international court means our Government has to answer to them if it tries to undermine your human rights. Be very suspicious of any UK politician who wants to remove that check on their powers.

Data from the Office of National Statistics shows Londoners are less likely to be violent crime victims (26.4 offences per 1,000 pop) than the rest of England & Wales (31.9 offences). Violent crime has fallen in every London borough in the past year.
@CeliaRichards0n Do the members of Raise the Colours not see the contradiction between their slogans "Unite the Kingdom" (which I can absolutely support, if it's inclusive of everyone living in the UK) and "Stop the Boats"?
Yes indeed, tickets for our annual Christmas concert in Oxford are on sale, and you can buy them from https://t.co/Abc4yeJQUb

I was 13 when Pinball came out (2 years younger than Paul Weller). It was played regularly on 'Diddy' David Hamilton's Radio 1 afternoon show. The first single I bought with my own money. 49p in W H Smith!
It's Bandcamp Friday today, so a particularly good day to get your hands on any of the three most recent Magpie Lane albums - either as a download, or physical CD + download

Just one contribution today - I'm mostly trying to avoid this Musk-infested swamp these days
Anyway, here's a glorious performance by Jackie Oates about a lake that's also best avoided

All sort of vittles I did provide
All sorts of meats that’s fitting for him
With oyster pie and rhubarb too
But nothing will put courage in him

Oysters are a delicacy, of course, although there's no mention of the bloke actually getting to eat any in this song

It's about food, but not necessarily food that you'd want to eat: Cowd Stringy Pie, sung by Dave Hillery

Good to meet the face behind @tradsongtues at the weekend, btw.
I don't often feel sorry for members of the Royal family, but Charles must be dreading this. Can't help feeling that his view of Trump is - correctly - that he's Simply Appalling
🚨 BREAKING: Donald Trump will be invited to stay with the King at Balmoral Castle in Scotland as part of a second UK state visit when Keir Starmer meets him at the White House on Thursday
