It made be raining now, but sunrise in #Pittsburgh was actually pretty awesome today. This is a 244 second exposure, captured with a neutral density filter, showing how far the color spread across the sky. The reflections weren't too bad either. I'll take that for a Monday.

This lightning strike in #Pittsburgh was one of the closest I've ever captured, and certainly one of the clearest and most dramatic. This isn't a composite; all these bolts happened within a fraction of a second, creating a terrifyingly beautiful scene. A new all time favorite.

Even after the color faded from that amazing sunrise last week, when the sun made its way between the clouds, it was a pretty incredible scene. The edge of the top clouds caught the light, and with the rivers reasonably still, the reflection of #pittsburgh was an added bonus.
