Putin's mobilisation looks asymmetrical:
1. Partial mobilisation in large cities, especially soft in Moscow & Petersburg
2. Total mobilisation in remote rural regions, especially ethnic ones
We don't have hard data yet, this mobilisation may include elements of ethnic cleansing
Young and old in the streets of Iran, this elderly woman removes her hijab and chants “death to Khamenei” in Rasht, a city under attack by the Iran regime, widely cut off of the internet.#مهسا_امینی
The internet blackout by the Islamic Republic has started. Words can't describe the feelings when all of a sudden a nation disappeares on the internet. People who have been trying everything online to be heard.
Please be their voice.

The Supreme Court was fine with people protesting at the homes of abortion clinic workers. Scalia, joined by his colleagues, said the first amendment doesn’t exclude protests on public sidewalks. But none of this apparently applies to the justices making these decisions.
@marcslove Nah Marc, Abe is his last name. Was his dad’s and granddad’s last names too, they were both in politics as well. Fun fact: his surname 安倍 pronounced in Chinese sounds more like “an-bay” than “abe”
@jeffvandermeer That momma possum is so cute, in a lowkey terrifying way. Also, what is that animal stalking off in epilogue? Is it a reference to when the armadillo was alive? Something else?
- Restrain judicial review
- Expand the court
- Clinics on federal lands
- Expand education and access to Plan C
- Repeal Hyde
- Hold floor votes codifying Griswold, Obergefell, Lawrence, Loving, etc
- Vote on Escobar’s bill protecting clinics
We can do it!
We can at least TRY
@teddipasketty Liberals have this romanticism when in reality it’s just another flavor of originalism. Blind, misplaced trust in institutions dating back to de Tocqueville.
“The master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.” -Audre Lorde
We need to create new tools.
Dem leaders must tell voters the plan:
What’s the *actual* need? Which specific seats are we focused on? WHAT votes do we need & WHERE (what states + races?)
And, what’s the return? What is Biden/Congress ACTUALLY willing+able to do at 52/60 seats?
Be honest. Details motivate
Gonna be very weird if Supreme Court ends a constitutional right to obtain an abortion next week, saying it should be left to the States to decide, right after it just imposed a constitutional right to concealed carry of firearms, saying it cannot be left to the States to decide
In a different light these ppl may as well be in Euromaidan or Tiananmen if it weren’t for the deliberate, decades-long, large-scale social engineering
Last week it was arm the teachers. This week it's arm the doctors. But when that white supremacist shot up the black grocery store, guess what they didn't say:
Arm the black people.
