We met with Katy ISD Office of Emergency Management & they embraced Be SMART, our safe gun storage education campaign, and they shared it with the parents of ALL 74 campuses. 84k students

I cried as I sent my babies to school in Katy, TX today dressed in maroon.

I cried for #Uvalde.

I cried because I can’t tell my babies with 100% certainty they will be safe at school, so I lied bc @GovAbbott & @TexasGOP have failed us.

I cried. Then I got to work.
