It is despicable that the Covid vaccine manufacturers are going to charge more than $110/dose for the new XBB.1.5 boosters when available in mid-September.
The US government previously paid ~$25/dose, supplied free of charge, and subsidized these companies with untold $ billions.

@RachelHorne19 @biancamwallace My children were alienated from me by their father to the point where they deceived, verbally abused and blocked me from their lives. MS was parent alienation and loss of friends. I have SPMS and Long Covid, no support, at risk of death from heart attack. I eat lots of chocolate.

@DFisman Disabled on $1100/mo with no support, immunocompromised with MS and other chronicillnesses, unvaccinated, self-isolating 33 mos, I face serious complications with Covid and MAID would allow a death with less suffering to me and others in similar situations. Support it for us.

@Brandon_Beaber Is there a study of RRMS patients, no DMTs, avoiding viruses as germaphobes? I had RRMS, stopped working, my neurologist advised I would no longer have MS attacks, triggered by viruses caught in the workplace. They stopped for 10 yrs, I stopped Rebif, avoided viruses, SPMS came.

@fordnation's "stitches can be done at home" is another slap in the face for those with #disability or #chronicillness. Increase @DrFullertonMPP's 5% in #ODSP rates to 40% to avoid needless deaths of the #disabled as in LTC homes @cafreeland @PBethlenfalvy #onpoli @DorisGrinspun

@MikeSchreiner Thank-you Mike. Increasing ODSP by 40% to $1636/mo from $1169/mo, or $19639/yr would bring the #disabled just under the Ontario poverty line of $19930/yr. A 40% increase in ODSP is a fair minimum so we can eat and pay rent #onpoli @SylviaJonesMPP @odsppoverty @CatherineZahn

@andy_reynard @PrincessMS23 In 24 yrs since dx'd MS Research and clinical trials have been slow. My neurologist said there are no clinical trials on people with MS showing that the Covid vaccine is safe for me, immunocompromised with SPMS, and continues to recommend no vaccine and self-isolation (32mos).

@J_Roc98 I start a sentence then forget mid-way what I was talking about. "I have short-term memory loss, what was I saying?" Alternatively "I'm sorry, what was I talking about?" People are more than willing to remind me. I've been doing this for a year, maybe two?🤔

@PrincessMS23 MS may help with the timing. A few months before I planned on leaving I went home when I lost sensation from the waist down, overcome with exhaustion. I never went back but worked p-t in a new role from home. MS teaches how to listen to your body🩺🤗
