They want you to DM so they can sweep your concerns under the rug and not even resolve anything. Apparently no one has the power to reimburse our hotel for being delayed 12 hours overnight and then 10 more hours the next day
Anyone coming to Napa Valley for #laonda or anything else this summer, I highly advise you not fly #AmericanAirlines they'll leave you stranded overnight, add another layover to your trip and expect you to front hotel costs even when you're told you'll get reimbursed
Asking me to DM so that you can hide the fact that you've done nothing to actually help is such a PR move. I fully understand why everyone told me not to fly American
@AmericanAir You're bouncing me to the customer relations team that I have yet to hear back from. I'm asking you to contact me, if your intention is to actually help, you would do that. Will it be another two weeks until that happens?
Lesson learned. Whatever you do, don't fly @AmericanAir they will leave you stranded and make you fend for yourself. They won't treat passengers equally. The person ahead of you will get a hotel to stay probably for no other reason than he was white and angry.
@AmericanAir You continue to give me the runaround on Memorial Day of all days. Again, you have my contact information, as an AAdvantage member, if you choose to truly assist, like you say you want to.
@AmericanAir Every time I've DMed your airline it hasn't been helpful. It's helpful for your reputation to make it look like you're addressing things by responding on twitter though. My email address and phone number is on file with my AAdvantage if you truly feel inclined to help me
@AmericanAir Again, I did not get any follow up either by email, phone, mail, nothing. I was told I'd get my hotel reimbursed and I've gotten nothing. I would appreciate if instead of continuing to save face for your company, you would actually resolve this.
@AmericanAir They did not reply to me, please check your information. I see nothing in my email or otherwise. It seems I am still getting bounced around, and your airline can't even get its information straight
Our group was nothing but polite and we got nowhere, we tried explaining we were stranded and that we had a third connecting flight added to our trip so we needed a hotel to prepare for 12 more hours of traveling... nothing. But the white man who was angry at least got a hotel π
@AmericanAir If your airline workers at the airport misinformed us, there should be some accountability for that. Your airline reputation is already struggling and I see why. No professionalism, no consistent information, not a single helpful individual
@AmericanAir delayed our flight from Charleston tonight and we're missing our connection at Charlotte to SFO. Told there's no flights until Monday at counter and customer service phone. Each saying the other can rebook but neither is able to when asked.
@AmericanAir You were able to give hotel vouchers to other travelers and your airline workers at the airport told us not to worry - we'll be reimbursed. It's been 2 weeks and we've not seen any reimbursement
I'm told all hotels are fully booked and we have no choice but to sleep in the airport overnight until our flight 10 hours from now but at least we have a $12 food voucher @AmericanAir
