Yesterday, I tweeted the first in the series of the famed MNK-inspired Tweets. Today, here’s the second ‘According to the Constitution of Nigeria, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s detention ended with either of the Appeal Court judgment which discharged him & barred his further trial in Nigeria or the Federal High Court judgment that declared his detention unconstitutional. And for a nation that obeys international law, the United Nations Opinion alone is enough to set Onyendu free. So, just as nobody can run away from his or her shadow, Nigeria cannot run away from her own laws, court orders & international norms. At the moment, #MNK is not facing any charge & therefore should not be in detention’.

UPDATE: I just exited from visitation with #MNK. He’s dismayed that 2 days ago, the DSS blocked his 2 Doctors from seeing him after the same DSS had pre-approved the visitation pursuant to his request to meet with his own Doctors. The matter will be revisited, sooner than later.
