@donbernadonber1@PuckFupett69 Yes, I agree, that's logically sound on its own. However, the quoted tweet was "everyone thinks for some reason that they are closer to becoming a millionaire than becoming homeless." Keyword "becoming"
@AwayBerk What do you think about an increase in property taxes for non-primary residences? In the interest of making homes available to buy so they’re not hoarded, rented out forever, and never improved
@tekbog That’s pretty much it. Those people will never show you what they’re working on either because its just crud, and say “you just suck at prompting” as if they’re synthesizing novel alien tech with the llms
@JoshRainerGold You’re smart/successful enough in your eyes to safely differentiate yourself from this arbitrary drawn class of people. But not enough to be free of miseryposting or doing anything about your “problem”
@crogers_htown@wanyeburkett The triage system is shit in the US too. I had rhabdo and was in immense pain. I kept checking with them and they kept saying to wait. It took over 6 hours to be seen and the doctors immediately gave me morphine which would’ve been nice in the waiting room
@Duderichy It’s stupid simple and well designed. I only tried openmediavault before that which I wasn’t a fan of after taking way too long to set up an SMB share
@dieworkwear It’s a societal shift away from “overdecoration” due to our collective mental focus on other things. We worry about optimization of time and resources now. Plus fentanyl-like entertainment. All time is used up. Chinese bronze pots, Navajo blankets will never be made again
