BREAKING: James Talarico pounces on Ken Paxton's dog torture scandal with the perfect zinger — and then really brings the hammer down on that monster.

Texas, your choice could not be more clear...

"I wish Ken Paxton would protect puppies the way he protects pedophiles," the Democratic Senate candidate wrote on X.

Yesterday, a bombshell story revealed that during his time as state attorney general, Ken Paxton intervened to prevent animal rescue groups from obtaining the research logs for over 400 dogs being experimented on at Texas A&M University. Texas A&M had already disclosed that at least 100 of the animals had experienced pain during the research. Paxton worked hard to keep the truth shielded from the public, because there is simply no cruel, corrupt issue he won't champion.

Meanwhile, James Talarico — in addition to being a better candidate by literally every other metric — is also an animal lover. His Christian faith compels him to show stewardship and compassion towards all of God's creation.

"You had an event today or earlier today with the Austin Humane Society in which people brought their dogs and puppies. What was that?" news anchor Ali Velshi asked Talarico during an appearance on MS NOW. "What was that about?"

"Well, Ken Paxton is anti-puppy and I wish I was joking when I said that, but reports just came out revealing that as Attorney General, Ken Paxton protected a research lab that was notorious for torturing and killing hundreds of puppies," said Talarico. "And then as a state lawmaker in the Texas legislature, Ken Paxton was one of the only votes against a bill to hold animal abusers accountable."

"So Ken Paxton never misses an opportunity to do the wrong thing and he won't fight for the little guy, even when the little guy is literally a puppy," continued Talarico.

"And so this is a clear contrast in this race. You know, I have four terms in the Texas House where I brought Democrats and Republicans together to pass 60 bipartisan bills," he said. "One of those bills I authored after a fire at a pet resort in my district killed 75 dogs. And that bill requires kennels and pet resorts to have either 24-7 staffing or automatic sprinkler systems. And that bill is going to save the lives of pets across Texas in the years to come."

"That's the kind of action we need. I'm going to be a senator for all Texans, including our four-legged Texans," Talarico concluded.

Taken in a vacuum, the stark difference between these two candidates on the issue of animals might not be enough to move many voters. But it's part of a much broader pattern of behavior. James Talarico is an upstanding, honest, compassionate man who will advocate for the interests of his constituents. Ken Paxton is a heartless adulterer who accepts bribes and sells out his own voters to increase his own wealth and power.

This November, we turn Texas blue!

BREAKING: MONSTER! MAGA Senate candidate Ken Paxton helped cover up records on 400 tortured lab animals including innocent puppies in a horrifying abuse of power.

There really is no bottom to this man's evil...

In 2015, animal rescue groups from all across the country filed to obtain records outlining the treatment of over 400 dogs inside Texas A&M University’s research labs.

The concerted effort came in the wake of disclosures made by the university to the federal government that it had used 428 dogs and 15 cats in its "research." Worse still, Texas A&M admitted that at least 100 of the dogs had definitely experienced pain during the experiments.

On top of that admission, a 2009 report from the American Anti-Vivisection Society revealed that Texas A&M was taking animals from local shelters to exploit for lab research. Many were euthanized the same day that they were taken.

The rescue groups demanded the daily logs for each animal, including some innocent critters with cute little names like "Buddy" and "Sadie Sue."

Rather than side with the activists as any decent human being would, state Attorney General Ken Paxton intervened and ruled that the care logs could be kept secret and hidden from the public. As always, this corrupt careerist chose to side with the powerful against the powerless. It's no wonder he's found a home in the MAGA movement.

MeidasTouch News has since obtained photos and videos of the abuse, writing that "people should see exactly what his office worked so hard to conceal." They further reported that Paxton, while in the Texas House, was just one of 15 Republicans to vote against a bill that forced animal abusers to pay for the cost of housing and caring for their victims while their cases went through the appeals process.

This man has a deeply disturbing pattern of defending cruelty towards innocent animals. That, plus his pattern of adultery and the fact that he was impeached by his own party for bribery prove that he is the most immoral kind of creature imaginable. He couldn't be trusted as a dogcatcher, let alone a U.S. Senator.

Texas, vote for the candidate who doesn't hate animals. Vote for James Talarico!

CNN: It’s unclear what the Navy is seeking to change the name of the carrier to, though two of the sources said there have been internal conversations about renaming it to honor Trump. It would be an unprecedented move to name an aircraft carrier after a sitting president.
