Ralph on the Road. Ralph visited the Fort Monroe casemate cell where Jefferson Davis was held immediately after the Civil War. He thought it looked like what a 19th century AU dorm room would have been.
Ralph on the Road. Petersburg NB. The longest single event of the Civil War at nine and a half months, the siege of Petersburg is most famous for the Battle of the Crater. Ralph checked out the tunnel mined by U.S. troops and the actual crater blown in the Confederate line.
