Here is what this update does.

Every asset manager holds your money. That is what the job has always meant: you hand it over, they manage it, you get a statement instead of the asset. And when one of them fails, the money was always somewhere a human could reach it.

We are here to break that rule.

From this update, AUM0 never receives your money. Your stocks stay in your wallet, in your name. You hand over a permission slip, and the only thing it permits is a swap that lands back in your own wallet. There is no path from your account to ours. Ours does not exist.
