@CanDoChiChi @JustAMomNamedMP I’m sorry that happened. It reminds me of that line in Divergent: “Faction over family.” It is twisted and disappointing. I never predicted that socio-political issues would split up my friends, family, and church smh.
You cannot make people like you. You cannot make people believe you. You cannot change their minds if they want to think the worst of you. You cannot demand esteem. Put that wasted effort into following Jesus &, in his name, in his love & in his ways, do your fellow humans good.
@wanderinghentai @BenCptcatz @LarryGr74222356 @erikaharris14_ Thank you for pointing out that it is happening “around the world” because anti-blackness is in fact a global problem. It isn’t just happening in exclusively in America for political reasons. Neither is COVID but people see and believe what they want to.
@aringrags@Treggm @pitts64lb @CBSThisMorning From what I can tell the only one barking is you. Seriously, you are here looking to be combative. Calm down. You may wanna try deep breathing… at least until COVID gets ya
@Chicquie5@LeslieMac You are definitely correct and that’s a great point. I think that a lot of Black people (myself included until recently) had the misconception that the government had infected Black soldiers with syphilis rather than withholding treatment to cure it.
@Treggm@aringrags @pitts64lb @CBSThisMorning Exactly! It means that there’s hardly room for people having other health emergencies because the people who don’t want to wear masks or get vaccinated have decided they trust doctors with their health all of a sudden. All the D3 in the world can’t help you when you can’t breathe
@MollyJongFast I am a licensed mental health professional and she is not some impressionable, young thing or mentally ill. She’s simply selfish, entitled, and irrational. I’ve seen the same media coverage as her and had enough decency to put on a mask and get a shot. It’s really not that hard.
@BenCptcatz @LarryGr74222356 @erikaharris14_ We are so grateful to have you as an observer explaining the Black experience in America TO BLACK PEOPLE LIVING THE EXPERIENCE! We are just too dense to realize how good we have it
@BenCptcatz @LarryGr74222356 @erikaharris14_ FYI there are more white Americans on welfare than any other racial group. Also affirmative action benefitEd more white women getting into college than any other minority.
