Speech analytics pairs well with the monitoring and management of Parkinson's Disease. Consider that 70-100% of Parkinson's Disease patients experience speech impairment and combine that with the detection and monitoring capabilities of Speech Vitals.

We have deep experience with Parkinson's Disease. So what does that mean? It means we have a wealth and depth of data that has led to applied learnings, innovation, and a strengthened product and metrics. #parkinsonsawarenessmonth#take6forpd#speechanalytics
Speech impairment is a common symptom of Parkinson's Disease. When we consider speech as it relates to PD, we are measuring speech-motor symptoms such as reduced articulatory precision, monotone speech, reduced vocal loudness, and breathy vocal quality #ParkinsonsAwarenessMonth
What's the combined potential of Leqembi, a new drug shown to slow the cognitive decline associated with Alzheimer's Disease and Aural Analytics's powerful speech analytics platform, Speech Vitals? We explore this duo in our most recent blog.

Parkinson's Disease is a movement disorder. People with PD may experience tremor, slowness of movement, limb stiffness, and gait and balance problems. Non-motor symptoms may include depression, anxiety, constipation, sleep disorders, and cognitive impairment

Talk about health innovation! One of the patents that lifted @ASU higher in the top 10 was licensed exclusively to @auralanalytics, a company co-founded by @asuhealth Associate Dean @julieliss and Associate Professor @visarASU. https://t.co/AAW33qBXhK
We are thrilled to be able to share today that we have been granted Breakthrough Device Designation from the FDA for our clinical-grade speech analytics software, Speech Vitals - ALS.

Our 36 measures of speech have been rigorously validated using DiMe's V3 framework. This means our metrics are clinically interpretable and can be used to inform therapeutic intervention and measure therapeutic effectiveness.
We have global experience and language support wherever clinical studies are deployed across the world.
32 active projects
15 conditions
10 multi-language studies
25 languages within active projects
5 continents with projects

Of all the tests, measures, sensors, and devices available, why speech?
We could give you dozens, if not hundreds of reasons to use speech analytics in clinical research and healthcare settings. But, we have boiled it down to a few key takeaways.
When voice is healthy, the vocal folds vibrate in a coordinated wave like pattern 100 times or more a second. Speech Vitals can detect changes well before the human ear. Those changes can be sensitively measured and tracked and identified with specific motor speech disorders.
Digital biomarkers for precision medicine, or tailoring drugs to specific subsets of disease, has long been speculated. The results of Pridopidine in clinical trials serve as proof that our digital measures can help prove the efficacy of drugs mapped to specific disease symptoms
Word list recall is one of many tasks we use to measure cognition. Participants are shown 5 words on their device. After completing other tasks, they are asked to recall the words they were shown. This task and its associated metrics assess memory (encoding and retrieval).
A rare disease is one that affects a small percentage of the population. In America it is defined as affecting fewer than 200,000 people. In the U.S. there are more than 7,000 rare diseases affecting more than 30 million Americans.

In a clinical trial evaluating Pridopidine vs. placebo in adults with ALS, our speech analytics suggested slowing of decline in markers related to speech in participants taking Pridopidine, while the primary endpoint didn't meet the criterion for success.
