Great collaborative study. I particularly like the finding that some 'advanced' cancer patients did way better than dogma would insist, just by keeping an open mind, talking to the family, and discussing the patient in front of you. https://t.co/17XtzV6BTN
"Biobanking is where everything comes together." -Dr. Ramirez, @nationwidekids. Information about a patient’s clinical evaluation and laboratory data from their samples are connected and stored—or banked—with the samples in one place. https://t.co/rZdQ4NXXvA #Data4ChildhoodCancer
Well done Ivan, Eirik and Diogo. Importantly to those surgery residents across Europe who didn't get this news - all your hard work, late nights and sacrifices were not wasted. In the end no-one else will care about this small hiccup. It just won't matter…https://t.co/XQ4aXgCL2S

Welcome Ruby! Having previously worked as Head Nurse in a referral clinic, we are confident she will bring great energy, ideas and support to her fellow RVNs as they progress their careers at AURA.
Santi was born with a band (*) squashing his oesophagus. Food could not reach his stomach, pooling in a huge pouch in his chest (OP). At 10 weeks old (2.9kg), he had surgery to cut this band. One week later, no more regurgitation and Santi on his way to normal puppyhood!

Great work Team IR and thanks @IRHorton for being such a great supporter of veterinary interventional radiology and oncology, helping AURA develop the busiest service in Europe! @RoyalSurrey@SurreyVet@UniOfSurrey@SurreyRP
The Interventional Radiology (IR) team closing an abnormal blood vessel (S) in the liver of a dog draining into a large vein (VC). Multiple metal coils will close the vessel and return the dog's liver to normal! #weareAURA#portosystemicshunt @IRHorton @BSIR_News@IN_publishing
