Gaza is taking its last breaths, and the situation we have reached is extremely dangerous.

Temperatures are rising to suffocating levels, and the tents where hundreds of thousands live have turned into ovens made of fabric and plastic. There is no electricity, no air conditioning, no fans, no cold water. People try to sleep, but heat, hunger, and fear make sleep seem like an impossible dream.

Clean water is scarce, cleaning supplies are almost nonexistent, and essential medicines are unavailable. Skin diseases are spreading in a terrifying way among children and adults, while garbage piles up and sewage mixes with displacement areas, spreading even more suffering.

Long lines form for food, yet many return empty handed. Aid is decreasing, and most relief centers have stopped or are no longer able to meet even the minimum needs.

At night, rats, insects, snakes, and scorpions crawl into the tents, while during the day people face unbearable heat and endless hunger. There is no safety, no privacy, and nowhere to go. Meanwhile, killings and destruction continue daily, while Gaza’s space shrinks day by day, forcing people into smaller and more overcrowded areas.

This is not life. This is not displacement. This is a complete collapse of everything that allows human beings to live with dignity.

What more is the world waiting for? How many children must go hungry? How many patients must die before the world acts? Do not stay silent. Speak about Gaza. Share what is happening.

🔴 The son of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza held in Israeli detention since December 2024, warned Monday that his father’s life is in danger after being transferred to solitary confinement in Nafha Prison — a move the family says came in direct retaliation for filing a legal appeal with the Israeli Supreme Court.

The family says Abu Safiya is being held in a two-meter cell with no food, water, medicine, or access to his lawyer.

“How can a person be punished for asking why he is being detained?” his son asked in an urgent public appeal. “Every hour that passes without action may bring more suffering and pain.”

My little girl, Mirna, didn't get to enjoy her new Eid clothes. 💔

The pain in her mouth was worse than anything else.
She has two completely damaged teeth and has been suffering for months from unbearable pain due to malnutrition, the blockade, and the lack of medical treatment in Gaza.

I have been a scholar of Hizbullah for over three decades, and throughout that time I have been repeatedly asked when, whether, or how, it will disarm. Yet in the context of Israel's daily terrorism in the south and the Bekaa, and beyond, the question today has become even more absurd, because those who pose it somehow still fail to grasp that they aren't simply asking about an organisation, but about whether an entire people — the people of the south, the Bekaa, and Dahyeh, Lebanon’s Shia community, and a constitutive part of the Lebanese state — should willingly surrender the only means through which they have resisted their own genocide. And the answer to that is something that rings even more true today than it has in the past--there will be no disarmament of Hizbullah's Resistance, with a capital R, or of any other popular resistance that may emerge with a lower case r, so long as the genocidal Israeli entity exists.

Israel has also systematically targeted and killed at least 42 civilian police officers since agreeing to a ceasefire, many alongside members of their families, as part of a broader campaign against Gaza’s civilian security infrastructure.

UNICEF and the World Food Programme have publicly credited Gaza’s police force with helping restore security and maintain order after two years of genocide. Three more officers were reported killed late Thursday night bringing the likely total to 45. More than 2,800 Gaza police officers and security personnel have been killed since U.S. and Israel launched the genocide in October 2023, representing roughly 28% of Gaza’s estimated 10,000-member internal police force.

Nine of these verified reports are rapes or gang rapes.

This report is the foundation of the UN blacklisting Israel for the systematic use of sexual violence in war and against detainees. Israel is being blacklisted because its security forces engage in sexual violence routinely, and it does not punish or prevent this behavior, pointing to superior condoning of sexual assault, sexual torture, and rape.
