Here is a 3DGS scan of an aircraft and its engine, integrated into a @playcanvas experience. Users can freely explore the aircraft, inspect the engine, interact, and access photos and additional information.
A real estate project recreated in Gaussian Splatting. Future buyers can freely explore the development, discover its surroundings, and visit the villas before construction is completed.
@MarcosCDart There are different ways to create 3DGS, but in my case, I work for a company that creates Gaussian Splatting experiences for real estate projects, and we also develop the interactive interface for those projects. So our company is responsible for producing the entire solution.
We captured the real site using Gaussian Splatting, recreated the future development in 3D and converted it into Gaussian Splatting, then brought everything together into a single immersive 3D Discovery experience.
@msteevie3d I'll be very transparent: I don't know, because I wasn't the one who produced this file.
All I can say is that we've done a lot of research and development, and everything depends on the level of quality you're aiming for. However, it requires a very, very large number of images
@xpotzblitz Something like that but in 3D Max but you can find the same solution in UE5, Cinemax, Blender ...
I am working with some 3DGS expert and they produce as you can high 3DGS quality level
@xpotzblitz Workflow:
Drone capture of the site.
3D modeling of the real estate project.
Thousands of virtual camera views generated from the textured model.
Reconstruction in Lightfield Studio as Gaussian Splatting.
Integration into the site and deployment in an interactive experience
Training myself in aerial drone-based Gaussian Splatting.
This tool is honestly excellent for planning flight paths and capturing cleaner, more consistent data for reconstruction.

This weekend, I scanned an authentic traditional gypsy wagon with my XGRIDS PortalCam.
Wood carvings, moldings, decoration, double bed… every detail is beautiful.
