slight shrug of her shoulders, mischievousness painted across her otherwise misleadingly innocent features.
her cheeks darken another shade, and she swallows hard, a little too quickly.

if anything, even gwen knew she’d always been a terrible liar growing up. the faintest flush in her cheeks was enough to give her away to anyone paying attention.
