The post–Streamer Awards drama is wild… but honestly, it should be about bringing people together, not tearing creators down.

The hate against BurntPeanut is insane. He’s literally a virtual tuber, just because he doesn’t have an expensive model doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve his award.

Yeah, maybe he said some things about not wanting to be a VTuber, but let’s be real… the VTuber space can be toxic sometimes. Doesn’t mean we gatekeep who gets to belong. Let people create how they want

I understand your perspective, but I do want to correct a few things.
I haven’t deleted any comments, there genuinely weren’t ‘meaner’ ones on my post or I would have addressed them.

And when I mentioned a friend, it wasn’t to pass blame, just explaining how I ended up using that tool at all. It wasn’t about avoiding responsibility.

I get why it looked inconsistent from the outside, but my intentions weren’t hypocritical. I animated a piece I legitimately bought and thought that was allowed. I’m already adjusting how I handle things going forward.

After seeing this post I wanted to give a little explanation.

My instagram account was made in the vert beginning of my vtuber career and I didn’t not know anything about how this works. I did not even know about vgen or how to find artists. That’s why all my art is made by real artists on vgen now.

The grok ai video was posted after a friend said it would be a good idea, which i now regret and am truly sorry.

I think it’s a serious problem in the vtuber space that people feel so comfortable to hate on someone publicly who is just trying to navigate the vtuber world. Everybody makes mistakes but this is just mean and not helpful to any new vtuber.
