So are movies super-dependent on a misogynist audience or something? Obviously they skipped this one because they hate women, but I thought they were just a vocal minority. What gives? Where were all the non-misogynists?
Media Literacy is a buzzword thrown around to silence criticism of art. Explaining all this important lore and character development off screen after the series ended is the exact opposite of how you're supposed to tell stories.
This bugged me too but man I just LOVE how good the delivery & character animation are here from Hanks' feeling of betrayal to Woody rebuffing Buzz's handshake. Cusack's delivery is great too cuz you can tell she trying to save Woody from exactly what she went through with Emily
Maybe this is just a me thing but I feel like whenever a movie or show or wtv is like, fairy divisive, the side that likes it has such an annoying victim complex like “uwu everyone’s gonna crucify me for liking this 🥺” bro you have PLENTY of people on your side, you’ll be fine
I hate the “he’s not lost anymore” line because ugh this movie tries so hard to make it seem like Woody was so unfulfilled and like *that’s* the part that undermines 3’s ending. Why should I view that as a satisfying ending when this movie tells me Woody isn’t even satisfied?
@guessingdame I can do you better than three. I'll give you a compilation of the "romantic chemistry" the movie thinks these two have.
On my other point, Bo Peep got her sheep back and then packed up to leave without Forky, which was the whole point of the rescue mission.
@kcrdr7322@guessingdame Wow dude this is not a counter argument but you have media literacy so who needs those right? You can just say “you’re stupid for having a different interpretation from me” and leave it at that
