K-POP DEMON HUNTERS NEWS ALERT!!!
I just re-watched the movie and I want to highlight just as I depicted in the collage, that like GOLDEN, Huntrix most popular song, Echoes of Heartbreak is my GOLDEN collection not that it's as popular or even selling now, even when it's best selling good, enough to attract a company that poached me the idea of a possible movie adaptation but due to my refusal to lie and forfeit my integrity, they ended up ghosting me.
I call it my GOLDEN collection because it might just be my most popular collection in future, assuming this post goes as viral as I know it will. And of course, the gold in the cover which by the way was there even before the thought of making Kpop Demon Hunters was hatched.
GOLDEN is an amazing soundtrack, I absolutely love it, but unlike most people it's really not my favorite song from the movie. That goes to 'WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE', which I like to claim is the official soundtrack for my collection 'SHARDS'. Both share so many similarities, from the first time I heard the song I knew it was meant for SHARDS, written specifically for it. Like two cross world lovers fated to meet. Even my cover with the broken shards of glass with the light refracting on them, just like Rumi's patterns and glow during their final performance, which was also created before the movie.
SHARDS is a collection for those who understand the lyrics of that song. For those who are broken into a million pieces and have tried to fix it. For those who bear the scars. For those with patterns they're ashamed of. For those who have battled and fought their demons. For those with divided hearts. For those with collided lies.
For those who want to see the beauty in the brokenness. To let the jagged edges meet the light instead. To allow the scars be a part of them. For those in the quiet who need to hear that they're not alone. For those who need to rise and shatter the silence and stigma.
It's not for the heroes, but for the cowards who will become heroes, the survivors, the liars who are tired, the traumatized, the depressed, the dreamers, the fighters, the phoenixes waiting to rise from the ashes.
SHARDS is a collection about acceptance. Fearless and undefined, feelings raw and unfiltered, voices of victims, stories, lines and stanzas without the lies, the stereotype, the platitudes, the bullshit over hyped optimism and mental health cliches, Shards is what it sounds like. When darkness and broken shards meet the light, that's SHARDS.
If you think I'm just promoting my collections then maybe you are right, but also know that everything I say is true and that K-pop Demon Hunters and me, my collections share a connection, a connection that was formed even before both came into existence. They were made precisely for this post, for you reading through it and who will probably take action after it, to prove me wrong or test the veracity of these truths, only to discover that I'm actually right.
And maybe when you do, you could help this post reach others as well, and perhaps to further prove this truths, try reading SHARDS with WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE on repeat and see how it fits.
Thank you for your time and patience.

A6 I have spent the last year, constantly helping and financially providing for my sister. Enough so that it’s basically cost me my entire year of writing, I spent half of it sick, and quite a lot of money out of pocket. I still haven’t finished my current WIP, though I’m close. Needless to say, I feel like the entire year has proved wasted, except that my sister and her children have an intact roof, and functional home to live in. So, I can’t say that it wasn’t worth it to help them at their lowest. Where the Lord leads me now is a mystery, but I will, by His grace, trust Him and continue on.
A7 I run to God! Sinning makes me feel apart from my Lord, which I do not want, or like to feel. I rush to my Lord for reconciliation and forgiveness. I want to be with Jesus, not apart. It’s heartbreaking at times. #HealthyFaithChat

Saturday nights are for writers who’d rather spend time with fictional people than go out.
No regrets. Just words, tea, and quiet magic.
Who else is writing tonight?

There’s something humbling about chasing perfection in stories knowing we’ll never reach it, yet still trying.
Authors, how do you know when your draft is done enough?
