what really saddens me is how much this game means to me, and how little they've been giving back.

when I criticize them, it's not because i don't like the game.

it's because I want it to be better for us.

I spent the first few years of adulthood in utter, unsustainable poverty. I thought, even after graduating college, all I would ever be capable of was a $15/hr job.

It was only a happenstance old school Silicon Valley 8-hour coding interview which fished me out of that. The scars are still there.

Money shifts to an entirely different set of problems and expectations. It must be acknowledged that’s infinitely better than narrowing your life to cooking beans and rice. Also it must be acknowledged more money is nowhere nearer to fulfilling the soul — and the Epstein releases testify to that also. When the immediate obstacles of survival are removed, all that remains without spirituality is pure degeneracy.
