🕊️ A profound honor: Art for peace and a world without fear ✨
Hey, Bright Hours family! 🌸
Today, I want to share a milestone that means the world to me, both as an artist and as someone who dreams of making this world a safer, kinder place.
I am deeply honored to announce that two of my artworks have been selected for the international group exhibition "PROMEMORIA (Sending out an SOS) — War, something that should never be done" in Geneva, Switzerland! 🇨🇭✨
This exhibition is a historic collaboration led by the association Colorier l’Avenir, the Institute of Arab and Mediterranean Cultures (ICAM), and ICAN — the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (Nobel Peace Prize 2017 laureate).
To have my art recognized by organizations that fight so fiercely for world peace is an indescribable feeling. For this exhibition, I participated under my name Kristina ;D, and I’m incredibly proud to share the official Certificate of Participation along with my selected pieces. 🖼️📜
Here are the two works that were chosen:
"Digital Sky Over the Ruins" ("Цифровое небо над руинами") — A reflection on the heavy consequences of conflict, the resilience of memory, and the urgent necessity of protecting our children's future.
"Afghanistan & Pakistan: Skies Without Borders" 🪁✨ — A poignant piece showing that while borders and barbed wire can divide the earth, the sky remains free, and hope always finds a way to fly above the barriers.
As you know, my ultimate goal with Bright Hours and my digital art is to establish a charitable organization aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This recognition in Geneva is another massive step toward turning that dream into reality. We are also full-steam ahead on developing the website and mobile app to support mental health! 📱🌱
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey. Your views, likes, and incredible energy keep me moving forward every single day. 💛
What emotions do these two pieces evoke for you? Which one resonates with you the most? Please share your reflections in the comments — your support and feedback mean the world to me! 👇✨
