@wakwaws02@MariusCrypt0 Andre is still around, recently around fusd. I don’t think FTM will be the “it” thing in any consistent way, but it pumps when it pumps. Expecting its ecosystem to go big around halloween like it did last year. Beethoven launched balancer for optismism. Good eco.
@MariusCrypt0@PipeMysterious @ElrondWarriors @DrElrond123 “Executing smart contracts written in Solidity is also possible, if a mature Solidity → WASM third-party compiler is used. At this time, though, the Solidity compilers known to produce WASM appear to be still under development..” so not yet
@MariusCrypt0 An algorithmic coin is inherently uncollateralised, any other argument would suggest that essentially every stable coin is algorithmic. Either the coin is backed by something (fiat, crypto), or it’s algorithmic and relies on arbitrage and ‘credit’ instead of debt.
@oscarroriz Honestly considering how well a lot of the fantom ecosystem are performing compared to many of the other L1s I reckon it’s all the degens buying cheap beets/spirit/lqdr etc on the FTM pairs driving it down. I also think that’s why FTM reverses hard and fast.
@mgogel We already teach critical thinking and the power of language to persuade but most don’t seem to remember it past the test. They definitely don’t internalise it. Why would this be any different?
@Early_Alpha_ @milesdeutscher @ftm_ecologist Also, the whole 2omb 3omb thing is disgraceful ponzu shit. I liked the experiment of tomb itself, and sure every other chain might as well have its own knock off experiment. But 2omb and 3omb are just for feeding buyer FOMO and are signalling the top of something.
@Early_Alpha_ @milesdeutscher @ftm_ecologist I mean, it only really dilutes if it can in any way be considered the same thing. Unless Harry really launches a chain that uses tomb for gas, it’s not the same thing. And then it still isn’t the same thing. Is UST diluting the value of the USD?
@mgogel If central banks issue crypto versions of their current fiat currency, it’s just what we have now but on a blockchain of some sort. Currency without codified rules around its printing is still basically fiat, just stored on something other than a spreadsheet.
@mgogel You do say “this is for me” quite a bit. Do you remember everything you have posted for the retweets or are you scrolling through your own posts most of the time?
@mgogel Unfortunate that there still aren’t any significantly “better” options. Have you tried telegram/discord given your 5322 true fans? Surely there’s something better than those too, can’t believe the crypto communities defaults are the best options.
What an amazing week it has been! 🙌
To celebrate we would like to give our community the chance to win this NFT from our $BEETS x Fantom Wizard collection. 🧙♂️⬇️

@nachodonUST @IncioMan OSMO is also a major pair on the DEX, has a high staking APY and qualifies for even further airdrops, so it isn’t a ‘useless’ governance token in the same way as Astro.
Imagine borrowing UST against xPRISM and being incentivised with PRISM and HRBR (with the option to auto repay your loan, or auto stake), while buying cheap xPRISM from those getting liquidated and auto depositing it as collateral.
Just thinking out loud.
What would it take to fork Anchor and one of the liquidation UIs and make a few changes?
Let’s call it Harbour.
HARBR? Idk how many letters you get in a ticker these days.
Meanwhile let’s build a protocol that could see crazy borrow incentives, perhaps provided by the protocol that created the collateral you are borrowing against.
