@Potstirrer111 Airbnb in general is too much hassle now with the insane rules and expectations coupled with the money they expect you to fork out for the stay. I can see the value in it still for large groups/families for the huge properties but in general i've gone completely back to hotels.
@Potstirrer111 And nobody has learned a single thing, from the general population to the political class. Same silly insults towards those supporting and downplaying of what's going on. We all know how it ended in 2016.
@SkullSpeedDeal Maybe i'm just a right wing goofball but surely scrapping alcohol tax and replacing it with this tax would be an election winner. (FWIW Alcohol taxes generate approx 8-10b per year)
@AvidCommentator My personal theory is they are going to make the same mistakes Dutton did and go too far in to American culture slop and it'll hit their votes a little bit.
@AvidCommentator Imo Teals are for when times are good and the general public don't have much real to worry about. It's different now and i'm sensing a complete wipe out with maybe only 2 surviving
@AvidCommentator It's why I do not feel sorry for the university's and all their woe is me statements I keep reading. If these institutions can't survive unless they allow this rot in their campuses, perhaps complete and total restructuring of higher education is needed.
@Matt_Camenzuli Won't matter if people arent disciplined with how they order preferences. If you're going to put ON first then put Labor second you're not helping the conservative cause.
@Potstirrer111 The 57% to 19% on the coalitions Welfare proposal is also very interesting, because in the immediate aftermath of that announcement the media coverage from ABC, SMH and the like you would think everyone hated it.
