A giant tree has fallen. Today, We mourn the remarkable life and passing of Gen. Moses Ali. He was a statesman whose unwavering commitment to building our nation serves as a powerful blueprint for future generations.

My heart and prayers go out to his family, the people of West Nile, Adjumani People, the @NRMOnline fraternity and all who were touched by his decades of dedicated leadership. We have lost a true pillar of peace and stability.

Doc I think you should not be disappointed. Firstly, the ministers are trying to inject professionalism and respect for the jobs people are paid to do. There is no excuse for absenteeism at work, especially in the healthcare industry.
The auditing, research and surveys aimed at improving service delivery will definitely be done by the specialist. However, spot check/unannounced visits to schools and health centres by the ministers is a good approach. Drs, nurses & teachers in Ug r known for spending most working hours at their private practices and yet they collect govt wages every month.
I'm a registered nurse in the UK and this is exactly what is done by Care Quality Commission (CQC) in the UK, to maintain the quality and standard of care.

Probably, the former min had a different way of doing things. Hon Balam has taken a more transparent, pragmatic approach,leaving no stone unturned. And the results are there for everyone to see. He has sent a clear message to all govt officials to clean up their rot before its too late
