Agree and disagree, I’ve been on both sides as a lender and a developer. While they are very bias towards building over business loans it’s still far more rigorous than you would imagine. I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing by the way, they should be strict and hard to deal with so they don’t over extend on shitty loans.

Large, respected and well known developers that are fully integrated with a strong brand, balance sheet and sales still can be difficult to deal with bank red tape as they can just be unrealistic and obtuse.
