I’m not rich, I’m not powerful, I’m not famous. I’m just an ordinary Aussie taxpayer, worried about the future of the country he loves. 🇦🇺 Put Greens last!
🇦🇺 Be proud of being Australian! 🇦🇺
🇦🇺 Be proud of Australian culture! 🇦🇺
🇦🇺 Be proud of Australian history! 🇦🇺
Our government is not our country, our people are. Those who share common values and appreciate and celebrate this great nation.
Never give up on our country.
@mattjcan As a nearly 30 year old, I say let’s just rip off the bandaid and crash the market. As long as we bring in better rules around foreign ownership and non-citizen ownership, we could give the whole system a big reset for my generation and those younger than me…
The Greens don’t make any sense at all. From their perspective, we are on stolen land and that we’re invaders in our own country. But also from their perspective, they support mass immigration of anyone from anywhere, so isn’t that supporting the alleged invasion? It doesn’t make sense, and I continue to be surprised that anyone takes these clowns seriously…
The pendulum is swinging back towards conservatism throughout the Western world. The progressives overstepped their mark by allowing men in women’s sports, ruining entertainment and allowing the mass-mutilating of children.
Also no one likes being told what to do. As taxation, censorship and surveillance laws increase, anti-government sentiment also increases. That’s what gives rise to parties like One Nation and Reform - parties outside the established Uniparty, who talk a lot about reversing a lot of what has been done in recent years.
Combine this with inflation and immigration making everyday citizens’ lives harder, and you get the perfect storm of rebellion. The dream of home ownership is slipping further and further away each year and everything else becomes more expensive from the petrol pump to electricity to food. Life is becoming harder, not easier.
All while the elites in power rort the taxpayer and become millionaires, creating a massive chasm between higher class and lower class. The chasm is gradually swallowing the middle class forcing them towards extinction.
This is why Kier Starmer was destined to fail and why his replacement will be no better. If the day comes that Albo resigns, it won’t make a difference either. It’s just the same party with a different face. We need to vote these people out.
As soon as I saw the trailer, my first comment was, “why is she trying to act like a man?” There’s nothing feminine about her character and she seems to have been written as a loser. Even her looks are mid - there’s nothing interesting about her to draw anyone in.
There’s nothing wrong with a female lead. Wonder Woman (2017) proves it can be possible and popular. But when pushing political agendas and bad writing come into play, no one is interested.
Especially in a comic book setting where the prime audience is young lonely horny men.
Politicians speak about “millions of dollars” so often, they’ve forgotten just what that means. To any ordinary person, $15 million is more than they’ll see in a lifetime.
And then they’ll try to tell you that they can solve a cost of living crisis and that they’re “cutting taxes”. It’s all pennies compared to what these politicians spend. None of them can be taken seriously.
This genuinely blows my mind. And don’t forget: this is only ONE of the current members of parliament.
And then Labor and their supporters complain about Pauline’s completely privately-funded jet? It’s a joke.
I know it’s a radical idea for a Labor member, but a government, be it state, federal or local, does NOT have unlimited money. Cutting spending is a much better option than raising taxes or borrowing more cash. For success, the LNP have to prioritise their way out of 10 years of Labor mess…
Arguing with people who pretend not to understand reality for the sake of their ideology is a waste of time. The best thing to do with these people is to ignore them or laugh at them, then focus on people who are willing to actually have a conversation.
There’s always going to be a lower class and higher class of people - the world has worked like that in every civilisation since civilisation began. It’s the middle class that always has to fight for its place in society, and every year across the world decisions are being made to try to push them down to the lower class.
@elonmusk “Abundance for all” will never be allowed by the elites of the world. Do you really think the elites would allow the plebs to be equal to them? 😂🤡
Unfortunately I was blackmailed into it by the New South Wales State Government and Australian Federal Government, largely so that I could keep paying my rent.
I really wish I hadn’t taken it but without it I wouldn’t have been allowed to travel to my grandfather’s funeral, and my wife wouldn’t have seen her grandfather one last time before he passed away.
What a ridiculous time we lived through…
Using food to justify an invasion into Australia of incompatible cultures is the stupidest argument someone can make.
“I like curry so we must have infinity Indians!”
“I like Szechwan chicken so we must have infinity Chinese people!”
“I like Halal Snack Packs so we must have infinity Muslims!”
Totally ignoring everything else that makes up a culture of course, including laws, morals, religious practices, living practices, etc.
People who use this argument are not serious people and should be laughed at.
@SkyNewsAust Easy: by cutting useless government spending. It’s a radical idea to the establishment politicians and media, I know, but the solution is not always higher taxes or borrowing more money 🤷♀️
